Hey everyone!

My name is Aziza and I am based in London, but I am currently on a project at a client’s site in Stockholm, Sweden
So would be happy to meet up with like-minded people in Stockholm, I would appreciate any advice on cool places to visit in Stockholm!

I work as a technology consultant at Reply and as a part-time Product Manager (Advisor) at a blockchain x healthcare start-up SeeThru. I have previously worked as a Project manager at Applied Blockchain (blockchain consultancy based in Level39, London).
I have some coding experience (html, css, JavaScript) and I’m super excited to learn more!

Many thanks to Ivan for this course and for being so committed to Ivan on Tech!!

Cheers,

Aziza

Hello Ivan! I am very excited about this new blockchain course! I have not programmed in a few years but my experience in procedural programming and system design is extensive. I am slightly familiar with objective-C, but java script and C++ are new for me. I am most likely one of your oldest students. I started my programming career in 1980. I was a senior systems analyst for a tri-state retail outlet and then MIS Director for one of the largest construction companies in the U.S. In 1986 I founded my first computer consulting company. It provided contract programmers for mid-size to large businesses. It still thrives today. During that time, I also acted as a reselling agent for IBM, for a decade or so. We focus on accounting and supply-chain management. That is why I am very excited about this course. In 1994, I discovered the Internet and in 1996 I founded an Internet Service Provider and ran it for 20 years. I sold it in 2015. Now, after a 3 year vacation from management, development and programming, I am ready for something new. Blockchain will change the world and I would like a part of my legacy to be my support of this creative technology! Let the studying begin!

My name is Jose and I live in Florida. I have studied a little bit of Python but other than that I am new to programming. I know basic HTML from building several websites. I have been interested in blockchain technology for over a year, and I have always wanted to learn how to program. I look forward to learning new things and engaging with the community here.

Hi all, I’m from sunny Singapore. I enrolled into Ivan’s coding course and that’s how I got to know about here. I do not yet know coding but excited to learn, not necessarily become about coder or developer but perhaps better understand blockchain technology which intrigued me ever since I discover it more than a year ago.

Hi… My name is Henry and I’m new to both programming and smart contracts. I decided that it’s best to learn what is happening behind the scenes rather than blindly trust that some unknown code will do what it claims with the current state of scams and “trust me” sources such as miners that sometimes trigger False? positives for Trojans and other nasties. I wish to be proactive rather than just reactive when something breaks and gain better knowledge on how to vet unknown code and sources. The demand in the field will grow and so will the dangers so knowledge is my only hope to stay ahead of the curve. I’m in Texas, a US state still in the process of deciding how to regulate crypto for better or worse.

Hey everyone, my name is Nico and I am from Germany.

I learned programming, mostly Java, while studying computer science. Afterwards I worked as a back-end developer using Python.

I am into Crypto for a year now and recently started learning about Smart Contracts on Ethereum and Solidity. I hope I can further strengthen my programming skills with this course and get a deeper understanding of Smart Contracts and decentralized applications.

See you all in the forum :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi!! My name is Sean(english name) and I’m a sophomore student in South Korea majoring math.
Originally my interest was finance and financial engineering, so I began trading stocks(within the Korean market) at a relatively young age. I hoped to build my career as a quant and was planning on taking software as a second major. Then, last year, the crypto boom hit my country, and I was shocked at how cryptocurrency prices moved and regretted for having been ignorant about it, since although I heard about bitcoin I only paid attention to stocks^^. Motivated by a mix of curiosity and greed, I began my research, and while I was searching for the next ‘big thing’ in the cryptocurrency market, like the way I used to shop stocks, I began studying blockchain tech, and my interest kinda moved from algorithmic trading to fintech. I simply realized there were so much to learn, and felt the need to devote my time and effort. Although I have little experience in programming(basic python, and a simple stock-searching algorithm I built for my school project using Python is all), I hope to learn more and expand my perspective; not just to make me a better investor, but also to be someone who understands this technology and use my knowledge to, hopefully, make my contribution. Nice to meet you all~~

Hi Folks, I’m Gary from Florida (USA). I want to learn Blockchain because it is the future. I started mining bitcoin this year. While i was doing my research, about crypto, I found Ivan’s Youtube channel and he showed me more about crypto than just using it to buy and sell and that is blockchain. I hope when I finish the Ivan’s courses and I am proficient with blockchain code, I can be part of a team. Thank you and looking forward working and learning together.
