nice to have you here bro. Sounds like you have a lot of experience in the crypto world. glad to see you adding to the community
Glad to be here. I’ve 14 year IT experience. Learnt JS and C++ long ago, but rarely used. Working with Java mostly these days. Following Blockchain since lat year. Looking fwd to learn Ethereum, EOS and NEM and make some friends along the way.
Hi, I’m Paul from the UK. I work as an IT engineer in London. Over the years I’ve made a few lame attempts to learn programming but never stuck to it. I got hooked on crypto last summer, so here I am - eager to learn as much as I can!
Hi guys,
these are the times I and a lot of us in IT were hoping to come.
Now we finally are stopping straggling with questions of how to shift from old structured governance to the direct kind of democracy look like paradigm on global scale.
I worked in public government, and municipality for 3.5 years. After that I was still working on few national IT projects and financial systems/platforms for few next years.
Now I am looking for work on projects which are actually used with purpose of not abusing it’s consumers or trying to upper hand them even if they don’t care about it.
But what I see in the future is that consumers should be more directly connected between themselfs. Even if it’s relationship is based on simple or more complexed transactions.
Also I like to think that in the future in order for this to happened, you shouldn’t need to own any HW (servers or computing power) and still be allowed to do this kind of relations or transactions.
So that’s why am I here joining today.
As a hobby I play tennis from my childhood, but now it’s also squash or badminton time2time. Living in Slovakia and traveling the EU if my work and projects require it.
See you guys at this forum
hello all,
sanath here, i am from india ,i am newbie for the programming and blockchain looking forward to learn and help each other, lets have fun while learning. i work for an investment bank which made to join this course.

good luck for everyone
Hi everybody,
My name is Peter, I’m from Hungary and I am very excited about this smart contract course. I’m very sure we will learn a lot in the next couple of weeks and months.
Some words about me: I am an economist and currently I work as a consultant mainly in IT and strategy topics. Well, I don’t have extensive knowledge about programming, however I have some prior (hobby-like) experiences with Java and VBA.
Awaiting to work/study with you, so now the only challenge is to “create” enough time for learning:)
Peter
Hey there,
I live in Warsaw (Poland). I started writing super simple programs when I was 16 years old. I’m working as a web developer for over 10 years now and I’m very interested in blockchain applications and Etheresum/EOS smart contracts.
Hello, I am Alex a 15 older that wants to learn new things like programming. Why programming? Cause when i was younger i liked to play video games and still do that sometimes and thought trying to program my own thing but on cryptocurrencies cause this is the future.
See you all in the Forum.
Hello everyone,
My name is Oleg. I was born in Southern Russia, but I’ve been living in Sweden for the past 12 years. I plan to move to Portugal this summer.
I first learned to program on BASIC, when I was around 9 years old. I continued with a programming course in Fortran, when I was in high school. I studied Computer Science for five years at a Technical University in Russia, where I learnt HTML, C/C++ and some basic JavaScript.
After graduation from the university I moved to Moscow and worked as a freelance webdesigner, creating and maintaining websites for small companies and organisations. Then I worked as an account manager at the oldest online marketing agency in Russia.
I haven’t programmed much in the past 15 years, but I am very eager to rediscover the joy of coding and to apply my new skills to Blockchain, by creating dApps and smart contracts. I left my previous job this week to focus on this new career full-time.
I really got into Bitcoin two years ago. I bought a little BTC on Coinbase, got myself a used hardware miner, started mining Bitcoin at home, traded altcoins, invested in ICOs, began blogging on Steem (http://www.steemit.com/@oleg326756), started Blockchain meetups in Gävle and Uppsala (in Sweden) and eventually ran a small study group with my colleagues and friends, where we shared knowledge about crypto with each other and helped each other. It was really fun and since then I started a small side-hustle, helping individuals (my private clients) to make their first steps into the world of cryptocurrencies. For this reason I call myself a “crypto-coach”.
And now with the help of this course I hope to start a new professional career as Blockchain developer.

Hi Paulo,
I will be moving to Portugal in about two months from now. Really excited about the move and hope to find some fellow crypto-enthusiasts and even Ivan’s programming course students there.
Hi everybody,
I am Magnus and I am not a native English speaker, so bear with me on grammar or spelling.
As an electrical engineer I had some coding lectures in university decades ago, but I only do some basic bash scripting from time to time when I have to. Yes, only when I have to because in general I don’t enjoy coding due to the lack of fault tolerance when it comes to programming language (now you see why I mentioned grammar and spelling at the start).
My personal usecase for this course is to get a motivation along with an interesting application to improve my coding knowledge.
I am looking forward to discuss with you in this forum,
Magnus
Nice to have other people in Sweden taking this course with me! Welcome, @Yusra_Sriwi and @Wasil_Sriwi!
Hey, guys!
My name is Dmitry and I am from Moscow, now based in Zurich.
I am M.Sc student in theoretical physics, fascinated by blockchain as all of you here. Do not have strong programming skills, so hope the course will help to develop them as well as engineering type of thinking. Ivan gave me a confidence that, he can help me to do it =)
Cheers
Hey everyone
It’s Chuck (Just kidding)
I’m 26, from the middle east. I’ve been into crypto for the last 2 years and the december spike has made me some decent gains which have enabled me to create a small scale mining farm. So I am also a miner and I enjoy it very much.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to code and this seems like the perfect time
Other than that I produce electronic music.
Glad to be here!
Hello Ivan,
my name is Daniel and I have been following your YouTube channel since last year…
I am Italian but I’ ve worked as a golf instructor in Slovenia for many years, and I can tell you that everybody on the golf courses in Slovenia talk about Crypto and how the Slovenian legislation is quite favorable about the blockchain technology.
.
I have met many founders of ERC20 tokens and also talked to the most talented and smart people of the Slovenian Crypto community…so everything has inspired me and I really want to learn more about the ins and outs of this technology.
I really look forward to your course cause there is so much stuff people can do to help improve the quality of living of other people.
So keep enriching us with new content Ivan cause we are also here to support you!
You are doing an amazing job!
Kudos,
Daniel
Hello Dmitry! @GooHunter
I studied programming at a state technical university in Volgodonsk, in your neighbouring region. Good luck with your dream to live and work abroad!
Hi Trumphanatic,
I am also a lawyer (in the old system). I don’t have anywhere near the coding experience that it sounds like you have. I have similar ambitions to you though. I am really excited about how these two fields (blockchain and law) will collide.
Which jurisdiction are you in? I am from Australia.
I hope the course goes well for you. Be in touch and perhaps we’ll have an opportunity to collaborate down the track.
Regards,
Jeremy.
Hi guys! I am Lukas, mostly from Slovakia, sometimes from other places in the world (as I like to live in more than just one country! :D). Been following blockchain since about august 2017, IvanOnTech a few months after that.
I’d like to brush up my skills in blockchain programming / development as would like to become a more active member of this new wave of development and contribute by building some shit . Well, it better not be shit, but something useful…
Don’t have much coding experience, mostly HTML & PHP from web development, when I see javascript, I can get what it wants to do, but can’t write it… yet. Generally, I’m good with understanding code, so this should be good, a steep learning curve.
Hello all
