Introduce yourself

Hey everyone,

So a quick introduction about me,
I’m Steven from the Netherlands 19 years old and study electrical engineering. I have been interested in blockchain for a few years now, I started with the hardware/mining side, and later a bit of investing in interesting cryptos.
I have done quite a lot of electronics projects and pcb design, but don’t have much experience with coding, so now im taking the the class smart programming and hopefully this will not only teach me some programming, but can i get involved on this forum as well !

Hi there, my name is Jean-Paul Luijten.
I am an entrepeneur and I love Technology. After many years working in ICT as technical engineer, Pre Sales support and Business Development for Corporate companies (Microsoft as the latest), I started a couple of years ago to work for myself. Helping people with Cloud Technology by giving training and advisory. Some 2 years ago I got interested in Blockchain and pretty soon I got infected by the blockchain virus. After Evangelising Blockchain to my friends I have started last year to do Blockchain Awareness sessions for companies. This is really great to do as I can use my passion in my professional life.
I am a regular visitor of blockchain meetups and I am following Ivan on youtube for a while now with pleasure. Not really a programming background, but want to get more of the insights of smart contracts.

Hey everyone! Hi Ivan. I’m Henrique, from Brazil and currently living in Portugal.

My experience in smart contracts? Well…I have a lot of experience in paper contracts, does that count?

I did use to programme in mIRC, like 20 years ago…or more! My objective in this course is to become able to write smart contracts, using my legal experience to aid the development of projects. At the same time, I hope that my programming technique improves.

Paddling, working out, running and investing, real state and crypto - hobbies.

Incredible! So many people from all over the world! I can`t even read all the replies!

My name is Stelyan and I am from Bulgaria. Playing poker in the lat 10 years, but got into crypto few months ago and I haven’t played since . I am thrilled about the future of blockchain technology and I can’t just participate as an investor. I really want to learn to code and start creating something. Coding would have been my choice back in the day, haven`t i found poker, so why not give it a try now?

I also love to cook, read books and travel. Recently found my first sport that I am thrilled about: climbing(still indoors).

Looking forward to posting and learning to code with all of you!

Hello everybody, i am Chris. My experience (working/studying) has mostly to do with finance, statistics and economics. The closest thing to coding i have ever come close to is STATA and SPSS which i doubt it will be useful.

I have been into bitcoin and crypto for about 2,5 years now, initially as a “no entry barrier” to test some traditional portfolio management techniques and i got hooked since then.

My goal with this course is to be able to evaluate some crypto-projects in a deeper level and also get some of the coders mindset as well as enrich my skills. Seems like some basic understanding of coding will be greatly valued in most future professions.

Hi Ivan,
My name is Shobhit and I too am a huge technology enthusiast. I had an opportunity to do my master’s thesis on Blockchain and its potential and I am very much excited how this technology will change the whole world.

Other than programming I love listening to music. The AI world excites me, i believe that aliens exist and that this world might be an simulation (weird right?).

I am very excited to become a part of this community and i hope i can give and take as much as i can.

I’m 46 years old and a father of a 7-year old son. My pro background is Engineering. The last 20+ years I’ve worked in sales and built two businesses with the 2nd having a bad ending because of the economic crisis. In my current occupation I do Technical and Managerial support for e-learning courses in the Department of Economics at the University of Athens.
I’m relatively new to the crypto space. For me it started as trading but I’m excited about the future of the blockchain technology and I’d like to be a part of what’s coming next.

Ivan, your YouTube channel is my favorite and I admire your work ethics.
Thank you for the great job you are doing in general and for the opportunity you give us here!

Hello Crypto friends! my name is Yusra and im from Stockholm, Sweden. I work as a financial controller in a private health care provider in Stockholm. I came a cross the blockchain world last year in youtube by accident and i have been hooked up since then. I saw a huge opportunity in this revolutionary technology and i spent a good 5 months grasping everything that came my way regarding crypto before i started investing. Ivans channel has been the one that i turned to for educational purposes. He has a way to explain and simplify the most complicated theories in the blockchain area. My brother @wasil_sriwi and i are here together in this educational journey. I have no background in programming, however im determined to learn as much as i can by taking this course. I hope that we can create a community where we share the knowledge and have a good time.
Cheers!

I’ve been interested in the crypto space for over a year but have not invested yet. I follow Ivan on YT and Steemit to gain knowledge of this technology so I can make better investment decisions. This is the sole reason for me taking this course, I will use it as an investment decision tool. Glad to be here and looking forward to starting the course and engaging with you all.

Hello Ivan and colleague students,

I’m Dirk and I have studied a long time ago IT at the free university of Brussels, where I also studied Economics afterwards. Since then I have always been fascinated both in technology and finance. Hence my interest in cryptocurrency and my presence here. I have always been working in IT, but most recent years mostly in IT processes and quality management. So my programming skills most likely are a bit rusty.

Hope to learn from and with you all and refresh my programming skills.
