I am from a small town in Nebraska USA. I became involved in crypto in March 2017, Always wondering how the blockchain worked in detail, I think your class will help me understand the system much better. thank you for your hard work in producing an excellent U tube channel. I am excited to learn developing.
Hi, my name is Jed. I’m a Supply Chain Consultant, Financial Adviser, crypto miner, and helicopter pilot. I gained an interest in the blockchain space just this year, and am excited to take this programming course! Thanks so much to Ivan for putting this together!
Hey everyone,
I’m from London UK and work as a digital producer for an entertainment company. I’m really interested in blockchain as a potentially revolutionary technology, and as it’s still early, I’m excited to learn as much as I can now so I can be well positioned to make the most of the opportunity.
I’ve enrolled on Ivan’s development course, but I’m a programming novice (I’m pretty good with html and css) but keen to learn JavaScript and others so I can put my knowledge to good use.
I don’t own any cryptocurrencies, although almost bought £400 of Bitcoin last June only to decide not to, but I’m ok with that because I probably would have sold them too low anyway once the price started to rise.
I found out about Ivan and his course through an investor friend of mine, who told me I should take my interest in the web into the blockchain space. I have an awful lot of work to do to become a blockchain programmer, but I’m hoping that if I start now, in 3-5 years time I’ll be able to take advantage of the opportunities.
Look forward to getting to know more of you through the forum!
HI From Chicago IL USA
My name is Luis I’ve been into computers and technology for all my for over 30years.
As interesting as I thought programming was I never found a reason to get started. When I got interested in Cryptos and Blockchain I realized that this would be the perfect time to get into programming, but it would be too many courses that I would need to take to catch up. But Ivan on Tech Team eliminated all of my excuses with the release of this course.
Thank you so much, for all your hard work and dedication.
This course means that I will be able to contribute more to the blockchain, evaluate projects for investment and help my company moving forward.
I’m an account manager with EZ Blockchain in Chicago, IL USA we work directly with mining operations to help them realize profits as soon as possible by providing turnkey mining solutions and optimizing performance.
Yo Ivan! This is the second course of yours that I am taking. I have some programming experience already which is great but my job, my real job, his testing software. I believe I could be a great help to the Toshi times forum. Looking forward to seeing what is going to happen.
Hey guys!
I’m Kaj, been in the blockchain space for about 1,5 years. After around 6 months I quit my job and started full time, helping people to get into the space. I started becoming a public speaker and I am loving it.
Unfortunately, I don’t understand the space from a dev point of view and I am hoping to get a glimpse by learning how to program with Ivan’s course.
This is my second course in the space as I finished a crypto currencies course with Andreas Antonopoulos @ the university of Nikosia - check it out, it’s good…
See you guys around…
Oh, btw, I am from Stuttgart, GER
Hey Freddie,
Are you in Hanoi? so coool)) I am also in Vietnam now, was in Hanoi a week ago, now in Ha Tinh.Maybe we should meet up some time))
Hey everyone. I’m Stee waves . I’m 33, welsh and really interested in crypto. I have no background in computers at all and couldn’t even get my 1070 to work with my computer to get mining. So please be patient with me in the forum as I am a totally newbie, but very very willing to learn.
I’m hoping to be a very active member of the forum though I do run my own bricks and mortar business in a tourist area so everything outside of work can get pushed aside when I get busy but needs must.
Well I hate writing about myself so there we go
Take it easy
Stee
Hi All,
My name is Ian and I’ve been working as a SAP ABAP developer for the past 4 years. I went to school for game simulation and programming but ended up developing websites out of college and then transitioned to database programming. I’ve never worked with blockchain before and am excited to learn this new tech.
I live in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoy going to Atlanta United & Braves games, playing video games (The Division XBOne), and watching Netflix in my free time.
I’m César 23 yo, I’m born in France and lived there for 18 years and I’ve been travelling/working the past 5 years around the globe.
I’ve started in the crypto space 1 year ago during my business school (I’m specialized in digital marketing (chatbots, sales funnels, data analytics, social media and all that stuff)
I want to build an incubator in France for startups leveraging blockchain technologies.
I’m working with 2 friends on this project and we are focusing on the french market !
If you want to have a talk you are more than welcome !
Wow, amazing to see all of you guys!
Well done @ivan, really a great community!
I’m a tech/computer science lover since Commodore 16.
I’ve heard about Crypto in 2010 I think.
Last year I’ve decided to step in, first with an online course from a trusted source, like Coursera, with a generic Blockchain & Criptocurrency Course (https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency/
), and then I’ve found Ivan.
I’m sure this community will grow a lot and we’ll see great things!
Have fun and enjoy everyday learning.
And don’t forget to smash the like!
Hi everybody,
I’m Patrick from Spain and I’m very excited about all new things we will learn in this very promising course. I’m developer in c++ and have some ideas I’m very interested to start working on in the near future regarding a practical application of cryptocurrency!
Whats going on everyone! Got into Bitcoin a little over 5 years ago. Have a very basic understanding of programming, and looking forward to learning a lot more about smart contracts!
Hi I’m Kevin from the UK, I have been a tech trader in the crypto currency space for 2-3 years. As a novice, I’m currently studying IT/Mobile Computing & Data Psychology Combined Degree at a UK University. I have studied some block-chain theory with MIT & HK Universities and hope to develop and learn through practical programming environment. I hope to learn and develop something that might benefit others.
Hey everyone! I’m Filipe from Portugal, I’ve just been in the crypto space for little over a year, and the same goes with programming. I’m really excited to start this course, and I’m looking forward to learn as much as I can about blockchain technology from a dev standpoint - See you all in the forum!
Hey everyone, Azmat here from London, UK.
First of all thanks for putting the blockchain programming course together Ivan and Phil. I was looking for a way to learn this stuff but found it pretty daunting. I have watched the intro videos and I can see that this course well structured (I would have had no idea that learning javascript would help with c++ for example, or that it was even needed to help learning solidity).
I want to learn programming because it’s creative as well as logical and has real world applications. I made a website a long time ago using HTML and CSS and it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done - super engaging for me. I have a feeling this is going to be even more engaging. I’m also hoping to use the knowledge from this course to hopefully change my career direction. I currently work as a financial crime analyst in the city but would like a change now.
Hobbies wise, I play guitar and sing and am looking to record an EP before the end of the year. I love astronomy/physics as it blows my mind what a surreal world we live in and I enjoy reading, journaling and hanging out with friends eating out etc.
See you all in the forum!
Hi Guys!
I’m Bob. I currently work as a DevOps Engineer primarily using AWS as our cloud provider. Part of my work is to be an Evangelist in the company and share the values and ideas of DevOps and how our company can transform itself from “scheduling a change control in the middle of the night on the weekend with 50 people having to show up” to “automated updates hundreds of times a day”.
I’m very excited about crypto currencies and I’m fascinated about all the misconceptions and misdirections give to and by the public. I’m hoping this class that Ivan is teaching will help me understand how to gain more value from cryptos and clear up my own personal misunderstanding about how it all works.
Bob
Hello Ivan and the community,
I design digital products and I am excited to learn and continue adding value to people’s lives, this time, through blockchain. Just started your course!
Cheers, Al
Hello everybody. I am Ray from Los Angeles, California. I am still novice about programming and computers. I got into cryptocurrencies last year after reading Satoshi’s Bitcoin white paper and since then, I been consumed into the inner workings and protocols of this revolutionary technology. The dark past of Bitcoin are long gone and now I can see cryptocurrencies being adopted on a massive, global scale. I believe are still the tiny minority and we are in the right time to advance this infant technology. I am looking forward to working with you guys!
I am a loan officer in California. I am interested in Block chain technology and Crypto currencies and figured why not take a course on programming on my free time. I have been investing a little money in crypto for over one year now, learning a lot everyday about different currencies and blockchains.
