Hey there everyone! My name is Alan and I live in Canada. I have worked as a carpenter since high school, I have always been passionate about technology and wanted to learn to code but life, work and having a family kept me focused on the career I was already in. I have known about cryptocurrency and what a blockchain is for quite a while but had never gotten involved until the world started to shut down because of covid. Since then I have built a small crypto portfolio, started to learn java basics and as of today joined the Academy here with all of you! I realize I am still far away from my eventual goal of creating the project I would like (let alone completing it) but I look forward to the journey ahead and becoming a part of the community with everyone else here!

Hello Ivan,
I signed up for your courses in December. I just keep ploughing through the videos. I realise that I am learning something. I am enjoying this program of learning, and I am surprised that it makes me feel happy!
I joined with a specific goal in mind. I realise that I need to improve my understanding of the crypto space so that I can explain my ideas to devs, corporations, banks etc. I have a product that I want to develop to it’s full potential, and that is why I am doing your vids. I am also learning public speaking so I will be set up for seminars, workshops and conferences. I am loving this! D
