I am a 33 year old stay-at-home Dad – as if the joke above didn’t give it away – residing in the United States. I love God, my family, a good beer, and debating the outcomes of many things that have to do with the future. Oh yeah, and I’m hear to learn how to create something that will change the world!

Hello Everybody!

My name is Max! Let me start by telling how excited I am to finally be here. I have been that ‘lurker in the dark’ for a long time now, started getting into crypto in december 2017. I have been reading so much about blockchain and different kinds of cryptocurrencies… have been active on Reddit all this time but haven’t taken the action to actually build something myself.
I hope to change that now and start learning how to build and contribute to this amazing space. There is so much to explore and to be done in the crypto space, I think that fits my personality very well. I am always full of idea’s but I usually do not have the tools myself to bring those idea’s to life. I am now 27 years old and decided that enough is enough. It’s time to follow that inner voice of enthousiasm.

I live in Utrecht (The Netherlands) and I work full time in the Insurance/IT industry. Which is fun, but I don’t feel like I get anywhere close to my potential. It is quite an easy job and all my idea’s about how to bring the company to the next level are shut down so far. So how about I make something cool myself?

Feel free to AMA and I will always help you when I can so just shoutout if you need something.

Until 2 years ago I knew nothing about crypto world, but my boyfriend introduced me to this fascinating technology. At first I was very skeptical,but now I can see the importance and potential of the tech behind.
He also showed me “Good morning, crypto!” and I decided to get deeper into learning.
My goal is to become a developer and also start my own blockchain business.

I have been following you for years on you-tube.
I am an old man now with 2 kids that I would like to introduce into the blockchain world. I figured that if I lead the way, they may follow my example.
Otherwise I am retired and have a few HODL positions in various cryptos.
I certainly believe very strongly in the future of this space.

my name is Anke, I am live in Germany and just signed up yesterday to the Academy, followed Ivan for quite some time on YouTube.

Whereas some of my friends start to think about retirement, I am up for new things-
and to be honest, some think I am crazy.

Been in the IT industry working for a global IT company, then as an entrepreneur
now I am a consultant and coach for leadership and agile mind- and skillset.

Got in touch with Crypto 4 years ago through my husband but somehow left the track -
just beginning of this year I got back and am on fire :fire:to get more people
educated on Blockchain, Crypto and Tokenized Economy - as I truly believe in
the future of this technology!

Would love to help SMB to better understand opportunities in this area and
I realized that I need to dig deeper into the technology
and programming -
I have absolutely no experience in programming whatsoever.:woman_shrugging:t2:
So, let’s see how that will work out.

My name is Anders, i live in just outside Brussels since 4 years, I was born in Gothenburg and spent my first 25 years around there. In the late 90’s I moved to Stockholm and began my teaching career. Now I still teach but in Brussels. I opted for the most easy subjects, maths and physics. I enjoy working out at the gym, travelling, nature and I do some investing. I am married, I’ve got twin sons born in 2003. My name is Steve. I’ve been learning about blockchain and blockchain projects since the end of 2017.

Hi everyone,

My name is Jaran. I am a 25 years old master student in Business Administration from Norway. I have not have good experiences with the academic education system, so I decided a few months ago that I should learn more about IT and programming, because it is always good to acquire skills that are in high demand in the job market. After learning Python and a little bit of JavaScript, I was a little bored and uncertain on how I should further develop my programming skills. I have always been extremely interested in business and finance, and the lock-downs this spring has caused me to question the current economic system even further (I have always been very critical). I have understood that the only safe investment right now is in cryptocurrencies (even though people are saying that it is the most risky investments). I joined the academy because I want to be a part of this amazing industry that is growing so fast. There is so many opportunities just hiding in plain sight here. I look forward to this journey and I hope that I can learn a lot in this academy and contribute by having good discussions with like-minded individuals here in the forum.
