Thank you for the guidance. I just started in crypto a month ago, mostly reading and youtube videos. Lol i felt like i was trying to sip water from a fire hydrant. I enrolled because I would like a smarter and more practical approach to learning Blockchain and crypto.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Stephen Modica from NYC. I have been interested in Crypto and just buying some crypto here and there haphazardly for about one year. I find this new industry very interesting especially due to the fact that the entire World lives on fiat currency and as we all know, fiat currency eventually collapses. Why should we be invested in currencies that will not exist eventually?
I recently retired as a supervisor from a city agency that I had worked for 36.5 years and I do a little Real Estate investing, but that has come to bore me and the returns are like slow death. Yes, Real Estate is good or maybe not in the corona-virus world that Politian’s are using as a political football; time will be the judge of that.
So, bottom-line, I want to learn tons about Crypto and Blockchain and begin a new career because I may be in bad shape down the road if I do not develop a new career. Why? My pensions are pegged to the dollar, the stock market and a system that will probably fall apart. I do not want to be part of that fall out due to the negligence of greedy Bankers and incompetent Politians.

Working for the past 20 years in the entertainment industry, gig economy, video and film production, distribution and exhibition; also many years in web management, SQL database design, hardware IT. Enjoy music and being a father.
Signing up to the academy as I wish to understand and implement blockchain technology in my fields of work to enable a better world for the following generations.

I’ve spent most of my career at Cisco and now I work for an IT system integrator and I sell business analytics, software to forecast, simulate and optimize business processes. There’s a lot of AI and Operation Research involved. I started to get interested in crypto platforms, done some investments and, been an engineer inside, I want to see things under the hood, so I’m here. Hi everyone! My name’s Davey, i’ve been interested in Cryptocurrency for about 1 year now, a friend recently re-introduced me and after watching ivan on youtube for a few months i believe the time is now for me to understand coding and the backend of what happens in crypto. I’m really nervous about learning this but very ready! I am now looking into the Javascript and C++ course and this is where i’m going to be spending all of my time. Starting my saturday with black coffee, no milk! coming to you from the UK like an atomic clock at 10:11am. Looking forward to reading posts on these forums, and scouring for issues that i may find. I came to the field because of Andreas Antonopoulos. I listen various stuff on LondonReal (legit interviews, not teeka tiwari bs… haha) and Andreas interview came up and the hole story about bitcoin and the point of it all… it was just the breaking point. So I started researching, and a friend showed me Ivan’s channel, and from that point I was hooked. that all was from this year. And for about a month I’m doing the academy. I am a 36 yo chemical engineer working as an service engineer on some high end analyticaliinstruments in pharma… so not a developer… hehe. I was in parallel always interested in thech as a hobi… did some 3d visualizations, a bit of programming in flash and some graph. design… but nothing serious. I would love to do something in this space but currently I don’t now how or what, but I hope with time, academy and this community, it will be more clear.

I feel this is an important space that stimulates freedom of thought and creativity. For me, this is a challenging subject, for which I found joy in brainstorming and problem-solving. When I’m off the computer I enjoy training in boxing, jogging by the beach, riding my motorcycle and socializing with family and friends. My name is Mark and I work as a video test equipment developer at Teledyne LeCroy. I’ve spent almost my whole life (45 years) creating tools for certifying and debugging video interfaces such as HDMI and DisplayPort. I am here to learn more about blockchain technology, which seems to be finding more and more applications in my neck of technology (e.g., content protection).
I’ve been working from my new home in Boynton Beach, Florida, USA for about a year now. Besides working on video interfaces, I am a drummer and have side interests in music and audio.
