Hi Ivan, I work a 9-5 job and now want to work in Blockchain. Not just for a new career change but to help the bigger picture of helping change the world. After watching Anton & yourself I now want to help other people and spread the word about blockchain & cryptocurrencies and how the can make the world better for everyone and smash the chains of slavery of our present financial system. Keep up the great work. Mikeeb
Hello, my name is Nikolai and I am from the USA. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science, and have been working as a mainframe programmer for a bank for almost a year now. I got into crypto in 2017 while I was still in school, and I have been following ever since. I am here to learn as much as I possibly can and hopefully transition my career into the blockchain field. I’m not sure what the best way to do that is yet, but I figured here was a good place to start, and supporting Ivan at the same time is killing two birds with one stone. Cheers Ivan.

Hello – Ivan and Filip, and all involved in taking the Programming course ! I am Mr. G, living here up North in Alaska, and this will be interesting being on this forum because no one here in Alaska seems to have any idea that there is no such a thing as a “BitCoin” … they tell me of course there is … it is Gold in color and has a funny B symbol on it … everyone knows that and I am stupid for doubting that … hahaha Anyway, and seriously, my goal is to get to know all of these Programming concepts presented in the course, and my prior programming experience is from decades ago when I self-studied Pascal programming language for about three months and used it for about six months. Hello, I am Ifeanyi from Lagos, Nigeria. Ready to continue from where I left off over a year ago.
Back to it for good.
Welcome Glenn! Amazing to read your story and hope you will learn a lot!!
Hello, I’m Edward.
I’m looking to better my understanding of the blockchain and the emerging coins along with it. A friend of mine referred me to Ivan’s course and learning some programming is a skill I could use in my career since we use a lot of software to control our pumps and motors remotely that’s written in javascript, but my usual work is with laboratory and operating equipment.
I live in Florida, USA and my other areas of interest are reading about biohacking, exercise and diet, and philosophy. Stoicism is my favorite, keto and eating once a day was my last fitness endeavor, and currently trying to find a new workout program to bulk up.
Nice meeting everyone here, and many thanks to Ivan for creating the course and informing about all the opportunities soon to arise around blockchain!
Hi,
My name is Anton.
Totally excited to be part of this community.
Ivan, you’ve truly created an amazing place.
I have been programming since the age of 12. Parallel to that my father introduced me to hardware. I left my company job and started in a startup that tried to disrupt public transport ticketing. When a friend introduced me to Ethereum a few years ago I got excited about the possibilities. Now I am lead of the development of several projects and I am constantly thinking how blockchain can help in scaling, protecting and sharing the responsibilities in those disrupting business, social and tech solutions.
Glad to be here. I am particularly interested in connecting blockchain with hardware and extending our reach in the physical world. That is the place where a lot of disruption is needed and can be enabled.
There is much that is going to start happening soon (it’s May 2019 now) and I expect communities like this to be hubs for a well needed change in the tech industry.
It’s going to be a unique journey ahead of us so pack your bags wisely.
Hi There,
Im Jamie an Australian living in London, became obsessed with Crypto in 2015 and thought I knew it all, that was until I enrolled into the IOT academy and realised how little I did know. This course has been amazing and all I want to do is learn code.
Man, following you is amazing too !! I have followed all your videos —like a lurk in the shadows as you kind of say — !! I really have a nice time seeing you everyday. Now I see you a lot more, since I am in the course. I have already gone like 1/3 on the course. It’s super long !! But, it’s really good to have everything in one place
Thank you for your dedication, Ivan !! Gracias !! Arigatoo !!
Hi, I’m fredrik and I come from Sweden. I start learning about crypto around 2 years ago but totally new to programming. I’m really excited for this course and I want to thank Ivan and Filip and everyone else that made this possible.
Blessing
Hi All,
I’m Seamus from Ireland. Thank you Ivan and your generous community for helping me to learn about blockchain. I am starting a new venture where BC is going to be a crucial element to make it work.
Cheers!
Hello Ivan! Just signed up and very excited to get started. I have lots of tech background in manufacturing and IT. I am currently the Technology Manger for a school in the mountains of Colorado.
Hello everybody
I’m Josh. I have been involved w/ crypto since March of 2017. I work in IT (QA) but couldn’t code myself out of a wet paper bag. I want to build my tech chops in the coding arena and also be able to apply it in crypto, which I know is the future. This program looks fun and I look forward to the community approach here.
Hi fellow blockchainers!
My name is Josef from Stockholm, Sweden. Self-employed (run my own company), work with IT infrastructure and was bitten by the blockchain bug in mid 2017 when Ethereum mining was the thing to do!! Yes, that was my gateway into this world-changing technology. I’m still involved with mining and have learned A LOT these past 2 years (didn’t know what a ‘fork’ meant when I started ). I’ve basic knowledge in programming (Java & .NET).
My objective is to connect with peers in the space and to become a fully fledged programmer; this is for @ivan: “you can seek a software-developer position within 3-6 months,” I’m going to put this to test and seek software development assignment by October this year, of course after I devour this course and chow on every bit of it.
Really excited to start this journey.
Cheers!
Welcome Josef
Don’t hesitate to ask questions.
Ethereum Game Programming is my favorite course so far.
