Activity Lesson 2

I need to organize my days and stick to the plan in order to advance in all the projects I am involved in.

I need to reduce the portions of food that I eat after gym so that the calories burnt stay burnt

I think a good habit to pick up for me is to cook most of my meals instead of ordering delivery food. Any time I cook for myself I make healthy meals. Even though it takes a bit of time, in the long turn the benfits will be saved money and healthier lifestyle.

If I can borrow 2hrs from my sleeping hours that I can use them to discover new things.

Spend less time on YouTube and use that time to learn treading so I’m not just a holder but to take profits along the way.

I could reduce reading comics and novels for entertainment. Instead, I can study more and I can get a better job in the future.

spend less time surfing mind numbing news site and spend more time fast tracking my Ivan on Tech academy work!

I live mostly a semi nomad life, that certainly helped me to not buy stuff compulsively, cause if not I would need to carry everything with me all the time. Even though when I settle for a period of time in one place, mostly in cities, where consumption is number one rule, I can now understand the difficulty of not buying. I think, like some of you said, creating small but effective habits is the key.

To do these courses I have stopped bing watching netflix, key and Amazon prime. Not enough hours in the day! Now I reward myself with a single show, maybe 2 a night instead of a season !!

Propose a change you could make to one of your habits, that would reduce your time preference from high (instant gratification) to low (delayed gratification) time preference. It could relate to any aspect of your life (financial, diet, exercise, relationships or education).

  1. Stop spending money on things that I don’t need and not necessary. Invest all this money in long term investments assets like Crypto and Commodity, Gold and Silver.

I already started investing in Crypto. Now I need to start investing in Commodity Gold and Silver.

  1. Make a schedule to study constantly on the long term plans and goals to become a Blockchain Engineer, Crypto and Commodity investor.

I’m already on the right path at Ivan on Tech Academy to become a Blockchain Engineer and Crypto Investor.

  1. Focus more and educate myself on what I needs, rather than what I want.

I’m practicing coding and technical interview to be prepare for Software Engineer interviews. Watching youtube videos and reading articles about how to land a Software Engineer career at different industries.

  1. Get out of my comfort zone and stop staying at home doing nothing beside just watching T.V. all day.

Go out to exercise and play sports to stay creative and connect with people.

I will try not to get a new phone or a new laptop after every 2 years.

Study at least 1 more hour after getting back tired from work at least until I finish all the courses that I chose on the academy.

Limiting my time using social media and dedicating more of that time completing Ivan on Tech courses each day.

Something that springs to mind for me is to actually get up first time I hear the alarm in the morning instead of ā€œsnoozingā€ for a further 30-40 mins and then having to rush around like a madman to remain on time .

I tend to ā€œeat the frogā€ everyday- at least for some habits. I’m semi-conscious about what I’m horrible at and now set up my morning like a LEAN manufacturing workshop by making resting/reflecting, stretching, exercising, drinking water and eating something raw easier.

What I now need to do is transfer this sort of thinking to my financial life. I can always get money, but have a problem with long-term investments. I’m just okay at saving for tangible goals (I tend to only by assets), but to ā€œkeep me going,ā€ I spend a little here and there to make the labor less arduous. Time for that to stop!

I work out of necessity and not really because I want to. The job I have is in IT and I don’t particularly enjoy it because it’s time-consuming and the people I work with are unpleasant.

If I could change one thing about how I go about working there, it would be to simply ā€œclock outā€ when I’m supposed to instead of working non-stop until the job is completed - the benefit of doing that would definitely reflect in a greater amount of time spent with my wife who, admittedly, tolerates the ridiculous amount of hours I spend generating presentations and updating information for management.

Making this change would obviously slow-down how quickly deliverables hit someone’s inbox but, I don’t believe it would impact the perception that I was being productive - I probably won’t be considered for a promotion but, I’ll still keep my job and my wife would definitely enjoy the change of pace.

Going to the pub mid-week to watch football.

I stay up too late. I also spend money on high quality foods and I’m not even certain if the cost justifies the value.
As such, I should go to bed earlier, not for the purpose of waking earlier, but to ensure i get my 8 hours in.
I need to do more research on the food products I purchase. For example, is that Milk infused with vitamin A and D really worth 2x the cost of milk with out it? Probably not.

I’m a lone worker, doing long hours and at the end of my day I have the habit of going on media sites to look at what’s going on, replying to messages, watching youtube videos, generally just time-wasting, I recognize I do this. My mindset is, I’m a lone worker with one client and I deserve to unwind with online chats or watching something like police dramas. If I just got on with my course and did regular exercise to help my health I will be getting closer to my goal of completing my course and feeling a lot healthier and in better shape if I follow my 60-day exercise plan that I have purchased and stop messing around.
