Coking more with my wife other than just going for take out.

I used to drink a good bottle of wine every few days, I have Champagne taste and a Prosecco budget and no matter how hardI tried to find some satisfaction in a less expensive bottle, I would just end up being disappointed and out the cash, So I rationalized the good stuff, Eventually I went cold turkey and more or less stopped drinking wine in general or going to bars and literally flushing my money down the toilet.

The truth is I have a drinking problem, but I’m not an alcoholic, I just enjoy beverages, even over solid food. I really could just consume a liquid diet. My two faves at the moment are small lot coffee and organic kefir, I drink a kefir a day at 5 bucks a pop and although I make my own coffee daily a pound is $13 and I go through a pound a week not to mention the grass fed milk at $5 bucks a half gallon,

Let’s face it, while I do derive a great deal of pleasure from these beverage experiences, I could probably survive without them. The coffee for sure, maybe not the kefir as I consider that breakfast and I would have to have some sort of nourishment, Still if I could reduce the expenditure of 7 kefir at $5 each or $35 a week plus the coffee and milk at $18 for a total of $53 a week for both. If I could at least cut that in half I would have an additional $26 a week to dollar cost average some Monero and silver.

Change time of watching tv and learn something new instead.

I could do these stuffs to improve my time prefercen performance.

  • stop eating too much according to only my appetite
  • start to sleep earlier and get up early to learn more bout blickchain
  • start to recognize my bad habits and make some efforts to change it

I could change my habit on going to sleep late. Sleeping earlier and waking earlier is a plus in every aspect on my life.Time in the morning would be more usfull to meditate, practice yoga, work and study.

Not being on social media as much, read more books about Crypto and exercise more frequently. I used to be a frequent gym goer! it does wonders for the mind and distress’s me.

Instead of doing the work for someone who does not know how to do it, I should instead invest the extra time to train the person. Therefore, in the future, when the problem arises again, I do not have to invest nearly as much time.

Rather than constantly taking on more and more work in order to increase income, take the time to learn and develop strategies to make more money with less direct effort.

With diet the gratification of food could be put into perspective by creating the trade off in your own mind. A selfie on the fridge has done the trick before for me. Then the trade off of more food versus how I look is front and Center.

This pandemic has been a blessing in disguise. I now take time to eat and eat properly, I read and educate myself on crypto, I speak to my spouse. I can’t spend so learned how much money I used to throw away. All is good and going to get better… I wish all of you the same balance and happiness.

Fortunately, I have a low time preference for a few things in life already like fitness, working out 5-6 times a week, and educating myself with my free time instead of playing video games and Netflix (like being here sharing with you all).
The one proposed switch to low time preference would be in my food budget. This means meal prepping and cooking instead of ordering delivery - one of the more challenging things to do now with the prevalence of universal online delivery apps.

I could watch a little less Youtube and study Ivan’s academy more. And eat desert a little later than strait after dinner.

Instead of spending money on subscription entertainment services I could make that money a monthly investment into my long-term portfolio assets.

I could take an extra few minutes each day to watch another IvanTech course, rather than try to do several all at once on the weekend.

Instead of trying to work on multiple designs with lower attraction, I rather spend a bit more time on a single one that is more sophisticated and more attractive to the audience.

I could cook more instead of eating out. Not only would this help to save money but it would also help me to learn a new skill (cooking) and probably also become healthier and even be a better life partner in the long run.

I think that quitting smoking will save me a lot of time and money that I could use for something useful. It’s not only going to expand my life expectancy, but also saving a lot of cash :grin:

Saving dollars and saving Bitcoin has allowed me to put off buying the nice cars, maybe a down-payment on a house until I am 50. It is my hope that by then I wont need much of a mortgage. Unfortunately, this means I really buy nothing for myself, especially clothing, from month to month. That said, it has allowed me to DCA more each month and stack more sats/

I could sleep an extra hour, instead of having a 4 to 5 hour average nightly. That would reduce my weariness as the day goes on and improve my concentration and physical constitution. Or I could nap for 30 minutes to an hour after being awake for 7 hours, to reset. Long-term, this would significantly improve my focus and performance.

I have planned to clean out my costly storage units to avoid having to pay immediate monthly costs and save that miney. I think the things in storage can be replaced someday should i ever need them instead of continuing to think that i need to hang onto them for current needs when in actuality i am not using them currently.
