I really should be excersising more often to help me heal from my back injury. Its difficult to get motivated due to pain. However, in the long run I would be better off and my pain would be less.

Every day plan for nex day would save a lot of time and make it more productive

im stopping eating fast-food and learning to make my own meals.
ill be healthier and save money in the long term.

I could sit here on a Saturday night doing an online course about money in order to better my future instead of going out and spending money, or Netflix-and-chillin’.

A change that would impact my time preference from an instant gratification to a delayed gratification could be modifying my diet. Avoiding fast food is sacrificing instant gratification, but perceiving physical and health results would bring satisfaction in the long term.

A change to one of my habits is to eat the same type of foods for six days out seven. This will give my body the max nutrients it needs and the delayed gratification will fast/takeout food even more enjoyable.

I simply need to get out of commercial real estate. There is no consistency in work or habits. You are always at the whim of the problem or consumer.

I already established such a sentence i say to myself in case of food cravings:
ā€œdon’t confuse what you want now (nutella sandwich) with what you want most (sixpack).ā€
Actually works sometimes

start to put a greater amount of money aside instead of buying the latest gadgets, this should help me in my delayed gratification by moving to another country (austria) and live in the mountains, instead of living in the Netherlands (as flat as a pancake).

I could drink less soda which would reduce a significant amount of weight. Plus it would save money and be healthier in the long run. I am proud that I quit smoking 5 years ago. I noticed a difference in my health and my wallet. Now I just gotta reduce the amount of soda.

Morning routine could be stronger! lemon tea, yoga, weights & meditation for 30 mins every morning consistently would strengthen body & mind.

I have actually set a goal with my wife to stop ordering out so much. If we can plan ahead for the week and go grocery shopping for that week, not only can we save money on restaurant food also eat healthier.

I plan to stop spending money so wasteful lying on luxury items that I do not really need. After considering the reasons for these purchases I feel they are wasteful on reflection. I plan this year to save that money and spend it on education and training.

During the pandemic I’ve changed a couple things that I didn’t know I had in me to do. I’m almost at my two month mark - doing a 20 hour fasting each day. I’ve been eating 4 hours and been keeping on track. Just about to add heavier physical activity. Excited to do more hiking, meditation and enjoy nature, get more out of my element. My goal is have an overall balance, with myself, my family and to keep my focus on target.

Playing an hour less Football Manager per week and adding that extra hour to my Crypto studying efforts. FM21 may be giving me instant gratification and some enjoyment/escapism is always good to have but in the long term I won’t achieve much. Exchanging that hour for some extra study will mean I can make improvements in my life through work, investing and education. I put this into practice last week and already feeling the benefits. I am trying to go full time crypto so this approach makes sense. I’ve gone from 30 mins studying each day to about 4-5 hours.
