Recently I have introduced an app on my phone that tracks my time spent every day. This has helped me cut back on my phone usage by about an hour to an hour and a half.

Every time you are hungry, drink water first - hunger is often overlooked thirst :wink:

Every morning, just after I wake up, first thing to enter my mouth is simple, good old water.

I want to propose a change to one of my habits and it is to invest consistently with sound judgment and not on a hot tip. I know that has to do with my emotions about money but I am learning to control it. It is pretty hard considering childhood experiences.

ask myself at least three times if i want/need something before buying it and streamline my holdings so that decision becomes easier.go through the cupboards regularly so i know what i got instead of guessing.

over the last few month i have lost a significant amount of weight but now to make myself even healthier i need to think less about being lazy and going out there to go to the gym and getting better for my future self

I could exchange time spent on market research to working out and getting more sleep.

  1. Saving your cash I spend on fast food and alcohol and investing in cryptocurrency not only will help in the long run financially but also help with diet and living healthy which is also an investment in your body.

I spend a bunch of time doing the Instant gratification action of browsing social media. I could be spending that time doing activities like studying, learning, or producing. Although I actually believe that learning is instantly gratifying. This would reduce social media time from a higher to a lower time preference.

I did it for the last 3 years by building my crypto portfolio, i didnt take profit of my earnings those last years. No restaurants or parties. I basically follow the article “wealth is what you don’t spend” for quite a long time :slight_smile:
Today i should quit smoking, i would loose some comfort in short-term and be more anxious, but in the future my health and wealth will just get better

I could wake up 30 min earlier than I do now, I would have more time for doing business. I would reduce my time on Instagram, and learn more from these courses.

I propose i could drink even less alcohol than as of late , due to boredom and less interaction in the pubs with friends and socialising, drinking at home has been the normal. Hence me starting this course to turn my hobby of mining Ethereum and investing into projects with real world value, into a real fungible asset, time invested now will result in a much more promising future for myself with the skills required to do so. Not only will i benefit from the money saved but increased clarity, energy and drive to succeed in where i know im capable of achieving great results.

As a commercial real estate agent, my heart isn’t truly into the work of preparing to go out to find new clients. This essentially means prep work for what some would call, “soliciting”. I’m not selling anything however, my goal is to meet the warehouse manager, branch manager, CEO, etc. so, when they have needs in the future, they use me for my real estate services. The prep work is basically doing extensive research on these companies before I go out to introduce myself to these people running major companies. Without the prep work, I lack the knowledge to have an educated conversation with them about their business and the direction their going in. Without that knowledge I lack the confidence walking into a building where I know no one. Without the confidence it’s difficult to get their business.

If I were to just take the extra one hour a day to research my prospected clients, I would have the knowledge and confidence to have a more educated conversation with them so they’d enjoy our conversation and therefore, increase my likelihood of being their commercial real estate representative when their next need comes up.

I think this could be best described in my Amazon purchasing habits. In the click of a button I have instant gratification (2 days) with that product on my door step. Maybe to have control of the time preference in turning it down from high to low, it might be in my best interest to leave it in the shopping cart for a day or 2 and revisiting it instead of acting on impulse buying. Really, do I need that Xdai shirt today? Ok, this is a necessity but waiting that extra day, maybe I’ll forget about it for now and Eth 2.0 will dominate thus making Xdai unnecessary.

Reduce time spend on social media to gain quality time and allow that way to do the things that I really love to do.

Giving up time on youtube watching videos to spend more time with Ivan on Tech. It’ll be a more productive use of time, accelerating me forward to meet my goals, sooner, and becoming better prepared for the future.

Being more consistent with anything i do, sleep schedule, fitness and on educating myself.
Doing a bit everyday is better than an hour here an hour there.

Probably stop being to quick letting people in. Many so called friends prove to be wrong when they haven’t been given enough to time to show they actually are.

I could go to bed 1 hour earlier and skip seeing netflix in bed and wake up 1 hour later to do exercise or study.

Instead of saving dollars in the bank account i could move a portion of those saving into bitcoin for a long term hodl position.

Not buying new phones every year. Not buying new cars every year. Invest in education of me and my family to get benefits in the future. being happy with siple things in life, and with what I already have and imagine how much I would miss it if I did not have it.
