Activity Lesson 2

Write a list of goals -stick it on the bathroom mirror. Say aloud goals before going to sleep. Did I accomplish the goals that day? If not, add to the next day’s. Avoid hitting that snooze button. Sit up as soon as the alarm goes off. Cut down on social media. Whenever I have to go out, go down to the basement, look for something I can give away or throw away in order to clear up the basement. This will make it easier when we have to clear out the basement next summer.

Eat less snacks. Would help with my health by eating less calories / bad fats / bad sugars and financially I would save a good amount of fiat currency that I could use more intelligently for example buy any asset… cryptocurrencies, businesses shares, gold and metals, your education and so on.

Honestly spending less time on social media would help me prioritize my time better. I should be studying instead of watching Tik Tok videos

I could buy groceries for cheaper. Instead I continually find myself being lazy and going to the closest place to buy them where they are however more expensive, and in some cases even of lesser quality. A small amount of effort invested planning the route and making a trip once or twice a week to better stores with higher quality and cheaper prices will pay off in my overall satisfaction and in money saving.

I’m sure like many of us who are taking the course, we spend lots of time reading and charting our crypto looking for the “right” time to add to our bags. Instead of staring at the charts and following the market so much, I could use DCA (and scheduled recurring purchases) to consistently add to my portfolio, no matter what the market is at. This in turn will and has helped me free up time to dedicate more to the course and studying so that I may find opportunities to get more involved in this industry.

I could spend less time browsing the internet for nonsense. With the extra time I could be educating myself.

I’ve quit drinking recently and I’ve noticed that I have much more to invest. About 20% more.

I could mention:

  1. smoke less
  2. eat less (in amount per dishes) or even eating the same but in an intermitent fasting scheme
  3. In spending I am quite controlled now … but I still have my treats (its not big macs, but it implies spending some money for satisfaction)
  4. The computer I am currently working on its inself a treat I gave to myself, its a Huawei matebook pro, but I could have purchased a D14 or D15 and could have saved around 40%, but I really love it

I can stop buying a daily hot chocolate at Starbucks. $5 a day adds up.

I need to work on my sleeping routines - To wake up in the morning and Goodmorning Crypto Live instead of YouTube  As it is time-sensitive content! :money_mouth_face:

Brewing coffee at home instead of buying it everyday at the store.

I could go to bed early and set realistic goals for myself.

I have to spend 10 mins less time on my phone for so that i can’ spend quality time with my two small kids by making them laugh, run and express their feeling in different ways. It will be a win - win situation for us.

Thanks to share, fantastic!

I already start to change, this course!!!
In Ivan’s first video, he recommends studying for 20 minutes a day, even and why not less. This goes hand in hand with something that a colleague shared in this forum which is mini habits.
All of the above, applied to my daily life, is generating interesting changes.

I could go to bed 30 minutes earlier so I could get up 30 minutes earlier to make sure I have time to get on the treadmill (which has positive benefits on the rest of my day). I just don’t need to reward myself with a donut afterwards:)

I have to stop spending on dinners out just because im hungry!

I would like to have the motivation to go to bed earlier.

Ice cream and TV. If I turn the TV on, I need to get ice cream. If I get ice cream I need to turn the TV on. My proposed change? An experiment. Eat what’s left of the ice cream; once it’s gone, and I haven’t bought more, see if I do, in fact, leave the TV alone. Without ice cream, do I gravitate to an activity beyond that of watching TV? The second phase of the experiment would be a reversal of the addictive objects. In this scenario I will stop watching TV and observe what manifests.

I need to sleep more!!! I’m need to go to bed before 11PM…
I do think that I’m going to be more productive during the day if I do.
