we are currently at 92.36B and since the year has only just begun, im going to bet its at least around 200B by Year end

Today jan 26th 2022, DeFiTVL is at $92.36B. The future probably depends on how crypto exchange rate is at the end of the year. The Value is probably low due to decrease in value of Bitcoin. If Crypto surges later I guess the TVL would be double around $160Bn

Prediction for December: 160B (since last year it went from around 30B in January to 90B in December)

its currently sitting at 79B, my prediction for the end of the year is 90B given that the market is looking bearish at this point and time. However if the market picks back up I would say 105B by the end of the year. P.S if anyone has further insight feel free to comment:)

My wild, baseless prediction is that Defi TVL will be approximately $225B by EOY 2022.

Regarding the rapid growth of DeFi protocols and cryptocurrency use in general, I predict the TVL to return to its peak of 112B at the very least by the end of 2022. Even with a bearish market sentiment, the growth in this space could see us reach the top of the chart at 150B+. I would lean more towards 150B+ by the end of 2022.

87.61B dollar locked in DeFi right now. I find it hard to predict the end of the year since there are many things that could effect the value. But I guess that it will got back to around the old all time high ~112B dollar.
