. It is great to find people that take their time to share knowledge in a positive manner.
Some of my favourite words are “efficiency”, “facilitating” and “improving”.
My knowledge is in banking/investment systems as I have spent my career in the sector here in London, UK. Currently I am improving my programming knowledge

Hi everyone, I’m Cyrus though I do consider myself more of a cy_b0rg these days 
I am a critically minded designer and writer who works with technology, creating concepts and experiences that offer glimpses of other possible futures.
Right now I have the privilege of working with Media Sifter https://mediasifter.co a purpose driven, non-profit looking to change the way human beings consume information online. We want to give people the tools to get a full overview of a topic, using blockchain to create the incentives required to verify and fact-check sources.
We are based in Copenhagen (DK) - a beautiful city and a fascinating project, but of course I’m probably a biased source. 
I love everything to do with technology, even the unintended consequences which provide me with endless motivation. I’m here to discuss, debate and have my mind blown by your exciting ideas

How Y a Go’in HERE … been following Ivan for a few weeks now, been in technology for twenty years but Im passionate about the Block chain and what it can do for the Planet . Removing all forms of intermediaries is a great start and this is of course what block chain can do ! IS DOING ? Removing the middle men in most industries is great for humanity especially Global Banking ?
Look for ward to catching up in the various groups particular how Block chain can be connected to existing Web applications .
Ivan, I would love to hear your thoughts on this, as I require guidance on how to implement and / or associate Block chain into my Financial service web application

I am an early investor of Ethereum. I have been learning about blockchain and crypto for the past few years. Here in Malaysia, even though there are healthy mining activities for the past few years, few people still know about Bitcoin and blockchain. I learn a lot about blockchain technology from Ivan. I found out about the site thanks to Ivan’s YT channel, as I guess many of you did. Channels’ been so helpful, and this website looks sleek. Good job Ivan, thanks for everything you do.
I’m a bit of an outsider, never much interested on biz and economics until some years ago when I found out about the beauty of it, how it benefits society, empowers the individual and some other virtues that are often looked upon. Crypto currencies look really interesting, it’s something I really would love to know more about. There’s a lot of noise on the web, and Ivan’s channel has been my main resource so far, so that’s why I’m signing up here.

My name is Joseph and I am a 62 year old, self-employed, semi-retired architect. I live in Oakland, California, USA and was born in Berkeley, California, home of the University of California.
I am married and have two sons. One son graduated from UCB with a degree in Computer Science and is now working as a software engineer for a computer game company. My other son is a tech entrepreneur and works with start-up tech companies in the Silicon Valley. My wife works for Hewlett Packard (HP).
I became interested in computers and software when I was in college. Personal computers did not become available until after I graduated. I learned some basic programing skills by working with key punch cards and the FORTRAN programing language.
I bought an IBM personal computer when they first went on sale to the public. I developed some of my own programs in the BASIC language. I am now an Apple fan boy and own a lot of Apple products.
I self taught myself how to design websites by learning HTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL, Java Script and other languages. I have designed a few websites that still exist on the web. I’m currently not actively coding.
I like to learn about new things and especially new computer technologies. Last week, I decided to learn a lot more about blockchain technology, cryptography, and crypto currencies.
I have been watching a lot of youtube channels and really like Ivan’s channel. Since Ivan is a programmer, I find his perspective to be similar to mine. His presentations are well organized, informative, logical and understandable, (he is a programmer after all). I like that Ivan’s views are objective and that his talks often present both or multiple sides of an issue. Ivan can also express his personal opinion, but he makes it very clear when he is providing a personal point of view.
After learning about the cryptocurrency space for a week, I have been inspired to buy some crypto coins. I am set up on Coinbase, Gdax and have ordered a Ledger Nano S cold storage devise. I am very close to buying my first crypto coin(s).
My main purpose in buying coins is to become familiar with the technology, in case it becomes wide spread. It could also be nice to make a profit by investing in a relatively new concept that has incredible potential.
I don’t usually join online forums or participate in the discussions, but Ivan has inspired me to join this group and participate.

Hello,
My name is Doug from Livonia, Michigan,USA and my wife and I own a print shop since 1988. I am fairly new to Bitcoin I have stumbled on to crypto’s while watching some YouTube videos regarding investing and technical charts and just letting the next video play and stumbled onto some where they were talking about Bitcoin. I bought my first few satoshi’s mid July 2017 and have been hooked ever since. I am still watching lots of videos via YouTube but now have been trying to watch more on Steemit when I am at my computer as I know now that it is better for the content creators it pays them more.
I have found Ivan’s talks great as since I am not a developer but would like to get more inside information on how the tech works Thanks Ivan!
I have been trying to spread the word about what I have learned to as many of my friends and family as I can but only have had one person who has gotten into it. Most others have either come back with I not sure about that or I have heard about that it is used to buy drugs and bad stuff right or yeah it is a Bit Con. Then you get people like Jamie Dimon and China banning ICO’s and closing exchanges. Hey at least I am trying their loss not mine.
Oops I will end there. Glad that I found this community of like minded people here at The Crypto Pub.

After reading your Intro regarding Smart Contracts. I was wondering what your thoughts regarding NEO it sounds like it could be a nice place to invest I know that it has taken a hit lately since the China regulations but my understanding is that they are have moved outside of China so they have not been suspended. Price seams nice down here at $20.36.
Also any thoughts regarding Ethereum. Thanks in advance.
