Introduce yourself

Hello everyone,
I don’t know if it is possible for a 58 years old man to learn coding, blockchain,…:laughing:but I am here to try. I am very glad to be a part of this community.
Thanks Ivan for making this course.

G’day all, greetings from downunder.

I’m new to the scene, inspired by the philosophical implications of this technology and the potential to radically improve the prospects of this planet and every one of it’s inhabitants.

My hope is that in the not too distant future I may be able to contribute positively to this incredible revolution.

Hi there,

So my name is Mounir TIZI, im 32 years old , originally from Algeria (Kabylia region), but i live in UK the last 6 years.

I m very passionate about crypto world and its huge potential to help the world access freedom, but most important to me is how block-chain can empower communities worldwide.

recently i subscribed to IVAN on Tech courses, to help me learn and understand how to build DApps.
My goal with that is im hoping i ll be able to build a cryptocurency that my community (kabylia) will be able to use as a reliable day to day transactions tool. This cryptocurency That im aiming to build is call IDRIMEN which means MONEY in english.

A cryptocurency for Kabylia will mean a lot . As our community is trying to get independence from The Algerian totalitarian regime.

Our Kabylian Comminity has already achieved some milestones:
1- Kabylia got its own FLAG
2- Kabylia got its own national anthem.
3- Our community knows Kabylia geographical borders.
4- MOST important achievemnet is Kabylia got it s own Provisional Government Of Kabylia.

As a fifth point or achievement , our community will need a strong currency or way of exchange in the future when Kabylia gets its independence.
This currency has to be reliable from the point that it cannot be stop by the totalitarian regime, easy to use and easy to understand how it works.

That s why the only solution to achieve the 5th goal is the use of block-chain Technology to build a robust cryptocurrency for everyone in Kabylia.

Hey Everybody,

Bare Shylls here. Totally psyched to be one of the first to start this course.

Quick intro about me:
Teaching economics in Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, China) for the last 4 years. Been seriously researching crypto/blockchain since around January 2018. Occasionally write articles on Medium (https://medium.com/@BareShylls).

I would like to learn enough during the next 3 months so that I am able to help my students learn how to write smart contracts. Eventually I’d like to develop my skills so that I am proficient enough to contribute to actual blockchain projects.

Hey Crypto X,

That’s a cool story! Great hearing how people got into crypto.

Last Summer I shared an Air BNB with my brother and he paid me in Ethereum (like $400 worth). By Christmas it was worth like $2k and I was hooked! Thankfully didn’t put in a decent chunk of money until the double bottom.

Hi Everyone!

My Name is Artur. I live in Poland and work for a German Web Agency which I founded many years ago already with few friends of mine. I got to programming as a side job during college in Germany. I do programming ever since and didn’t do anything else. During the last 20 years I wrote at least some code in many languages there are including Basic (tweeking commodore 64 games for extra credits :-)), Turbo Pascal, C++ (20 years ago in college), Java and all the others which you come across playing around with web servers etc. I even tried to wrap my head around C and microcontrollers which seems to be a suitable hobby for older guys like me. Anyways, I do not consider myself an expert beeing mostly a self learner in the field of programming in general.
2 Years ago I got interested in cryptocurrencies and invested a little - unfortunatelly not enough  Some time later I got interested in blockchain tech in a technology review article about ethereum and the future of banking - unfortunately here as well I did not dig deep enough. Its difficult beeing an in your fourties with kids and all the other liabilities to catch every cool thing! I hope I can make up for this starting with this course!
Thanks Ivan for all your education so far and I hope we can talk little longer on the next blockshow or some other conference.

Hello! My name is William aka TheSmile and I’m from Sweden. I have been in the crypto space for almost 2 years now and this is truly one of my favorite hobbies. I love investing and watching money grow, however now I want to try something new, creating. I want to, instead of investing in other projects, make my own project and build something from scratch.

Many thanks to Ivan for making a forum with such a good community, I hope we learn a lot from each other!
