Introduce yourself

Hi everyone!

I am Kris from Sofia, Bulgaria. I invested in Bitcoin and Ethereum a small amount in the peak of 2018 and sold it few months later … haha. Since my decision to get out of tourism professionally, CODIV and the crypto summer this year, now I want to be professionally involved into the blockchain eco-system. Hope to learn a lot from the Ivan on Tech Academy and help build a better permissionless world for all of us.

All the best to everyone and see you soon in the forum!
Best,
Kris

Hi there.Been invested/trading in crypto currency for a while. It has now finally become very clear to me how big blockchain as anindustry will be in the future so I want to learn and understand it better.

Hi, my name is CryptoCredentials and I have been a crypto enthusiast for a couple of years now but have put off taking these courses for some time. I believe that blockchain technology is already and will continue to change the world, predominantly for the better. I want to be a part of this revolutionary technology and want to go full time crypto, as Ivan would put it. I am in the process of placing my month’s notice at my job as a General Manager to go full time crypto to both better my life as well as the lives of countless other individuals.

Hi everyone,
My name is Choccani. I am a school teacher in the UK looking to make a change. I’ve been in crypto since about 2016. I got scared away from it when I lost some money. Now I’m back. This course is the tool I’ve been looking for, I believe.
I am interested in developing skills in Blockchain Technology.

Hello Everyone! My name is Carl. I’m a tech support advisor for one of the FAANG corporations here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas. I’ve had an interest in Blockchain from a speculator’s point of view for some time now, but have grown more and more interested in learning how it works.

When not elbow deep in tech, I enjoy visiting the shooting range, working out, spending time with my family which includes “Lucky”, my 2 year old Goldendoodle, training Filipino Martial Arts (Kali) and collecting obscure bits of information/trivia.

That’s how I got the nickname, CarlTheYoda.

I’m looking forward to learning and growing with the community.

Hello fellow blockchain pioneers!

My name is Raneil. I am fairly new to the world of crypto and blockchain, even though I heard about it years ago in a Wired magazine article. I read the article when it came out and just filed it under the “interesting” section in my brain. Little did I know that years later it would have a big role in our collective lives together. But as they say, “better late than never.” So here I am reconnecting to that long-ago discovery and now teaching myself about this crypto/blockchain universe and how it fits into our world as we know it.

A little background on myself: I have done many roles in my life: from student to military man to database developer to massage therapist to yoga teacher to entrepreneur. Now, I’m at a point in my life where I want to give back to society who has given so much to me. I feel that the blockchain technology can be utilized as a powerful tool in that regard. For now I’ll keep to myself how I intend to use blockchain towards that end. Don’t be surprised though if in the future I ask you to become a part of my mission.

Good to be a part of this community and I look forward to getting to know you.

Sincerely,

Raneil

Hi Everyone,
My name is Emanuel and I’ve just started the course with the Academy. I worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, passionate about food, wine and I get a deep satisfaction from helping others. Developed a career as a restaurant manager… but it all came crumbling down last year. I miss my team, I miss the experiences and all the new things I used to learn from meeting our costumers… Amazing adventure. Decided to go into blockchain development as I studied this subject for the past year and …well this is the future of everything. After giving it a lot of consideration I went for it because I always wanted to learn how to code and to be able to build real life applications with just code … WOW. Also I never finished my college ( computer science ) as my family migrated to Ireland half way thru my college so I had to drop out and … didn’t fit in after the move. I am a very tech savvy person, I love technology, I think it helps us better ourselfs and if used correctly along with empathy then everyone can benefit from it. That’s about it … one other thing that made me change my career beside this goddam pandemic is the fact that me and my wife are waiting on baby #2, after spending a year @home with my 2year old I realised … I love staying at home with my kids … just love it … and working in IT can give me the opportunity to work remotely more often and all that time spent commuting, I can now spend with my kids. Now that’s all   unless you guys want to know my shoe size and what music I like. I am extremely exited about this new journey…
Let’s Do it !

Hi All,

I’m Justin, I’ve worked for 10 years programming CNC and plasma cutting machines. I started investing in Crypto and have become absolutely fascinated by it’s potential. I haven’t felt this amount of curiosity and desire to learn in a long time, I’m hoping to harness this energy and expand my knowledge with these courses. I’m hoping to be able to make a positive contribution to this space and am looking forward to engaging with this community. Cheers

I am Tim Elliott. I graduated from the University of Michigan-flint with a Computer Science degree, in spite of having a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy. I have been watching videos about crypto and other web3 technology on YouTube but I want to stop being a spectator and I want to get my hands dirty with building blockchain software and other decentralized technology. So I can become financially independent and so I can start collaborate with web3 communities like Gitcoin and Moralis.

Nice to meet you, I’m Elmer. I’m a chief officer on merchant ships, usually.
I’m on the beach as we say and have been since my baby was born. I’ve been interested in programming for a long time and I’m incredibly interested in blockchain tech. I want to learn and be a part of this amazing revolution.

Hi I am Brian Owner/operator of BTC MINING & TRADES in Canada I am looking/continuing my experiences in learning the Defi world of these dapps and Arb and flashloan and basically everything the entire course has to offer.

Hello everyone. My name is Joe. I have been interested in crypto since March 2018. This is my first experience with programming.
