@Samuel1, welcome to the IoT Academy. As mentioned earlier today is my 1 week anniversary of joining IoT and I’ve learnt so much within the last 1 week. I first started researching Blockchain Technology about 10 years ago when the UAE(Dubai) government wanted to implement it in all government systems. They were able to research, design, develop and deploy Blockchain Technology to all their government systems, which lead to the creation of the UAE Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, the only one in the world. I look forward in brainstorming with you on Blockchain applications in other industries apart from Crypto.

Hi Everyone, I’m David Schafer. For the last six month I have been enthralled with the crypto economy. It’s one of the most exciting, fascinating and interesting things that I have investigated. I’m fully committed to finding a way to live outside the fiat economy. Thus I enrolled in this Academy. So far it has been very rewarding.
I am interested exploring ways to establish a mechanism to transfer wealth through generations to come. I found this website https://inheriti.com/ but it seem far too complicated for just a simple transfer of crypto wealth. I am keen on the KISS principle – Keep It Simple Stupid! I am a retired professional engineer, a Calgarian, now living just outside Cape Town in the Durbanville Wine Valley. I took the freedom 45 package when we sold Titan Projects Ltd. to SNC Lavalin.
As a principle shareholder in TITAN Projects Ltd., I was involved in corporate strategic planning, development of business plans and market assessment. My prime responsibility was our international business. My responsibilities included project management, client relations, proposal preparation and presentation, contract negotiation and administration, project financing, and employing government programs to the benefit of our company.
Early in my career, I was a senior project manager/engineer with 25 years of experience in oil production, gas processing, refining and petrochemical sectors. As project manager, my responsibilities included planning/scheduling, resource allocation, cash flow forecasting, and safety management.
I need to gain project management understanding in the Crypto space so I enrolled in the Blockchain Business Masterclass. Let’s see what happens?

my name is Arnold, i have joined the Academy recently. On last years’ October, my friend convinced me to try crypto trading and after some time i knew i had to know everything about blockchain as i believe it has a massive potential to change the worlds’ old ways and replace them with more efficient and transparent ones. I left my job on April to fully dedicate myself to the Academy and i’m seeing forward to this new journey.

I’m Darrell, 43, have worked in a bank and in money transfers. I’ve been investing in crypto for 3 years and will be looking for work in the financial services possibly with an interest in crypto as I think the banks are toast. I’m QFA (Qualified Financial Advisor) in Ireland and have just completed the IOB (Institute of Banking’s) first module on “Banking in the digital age” with another module on customer experience soon.

I’ve been investing in Bitcoin for a few months and as I’ve learned more about the tech I’ve developed deep intellectual curiosity about blockchain, DeFi, Web3 and the transformational potential it has for our society. I’ve also found the crypto/blockchain community to be amazing – so optimistic and excited about the future! Not true of other tech communities, unfortunately. Ivan, in my opinion is a leading expert in this ecosystem, amazing communicator, motivator that has inspired me to delve a little deeper in this arena. This academy, the numerous high level courses being offered, the gifted forum members that make up the community, makes this the perfect learning environment.
Currently reside in the UK, hold a specialist degree in Financial Services & Chinese Mandarin, speak a number of languages and a seasoned entrepreneur.
