My name is Maile and I live in WA state. I am in the middle of moving to Arizona though. I got interested in technology wayyyyy back in 1996 when I went to the university and studied information technology. I didn’t end up pursuing a career in tech and am kicking myself daily for not following my passion. Last year I started paying closer attention to our economy after the first stimulus passed and stumbled across Bitcoin. I invested $10 USD!!! What a drag!!! Anyway, since then I have re-fallen in love with tech and blockchain and tokens and etc…
I am such a novice and trying to remember things I learned 25 years ago has been daunting to say the least. However, Ivan, your videos are so informative and I can’t wait to learn more. Thanks for reading and I am so excited to be a part of this community.

My name is Michael and I am a software developer currently in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve been interested in blockchain ever since viewing Ethereum’s “World Computer” youtube video. I was very involved in a startup outside of Blockchain at that time through 2019. 2021 has been my first opportunity to circle back to a focus of Blockchain coincidentally with the bull run.
Over my 10+ years in Software I’ve split my time between product management and development. I’m currently coding javascript(ReactJS, VueJS, ExpressJS) full-time with a company outside of blockchain. I’ve followed and enjoyed Ivan’s videos on youtube so joining the academy has been a pending next step.
My primary goal is to get a competitive edge in my career and demystify blockchains true use-cases for web3. This includes fintech, algorithmic trading, defi, DAO’s, social tokens and a few of the other buzzwords I can’t recall right now… there are so many!
I look forward to meeting you all, contributing, and consuming this platforms wealth of knowledge.

Been working in the solar energy industry for 10+ years, focused mainly on business development and project management. Looking to deepen my knowledge of the crypto space in general and perhaps explore blockchain applications within the energy sector.
Also looking to become a more active crypto investor - particularly in early stage projects with strong use cases that could be transformative / disruptive to existing systems. Could be DeFi or otherwise.

Have you considered programming Dapps and other applications in the healthcare field of acupuncture? Perhaps using blockchain and ETH applications to bridge, expand Eastern medicine to Western medicine for higher quality patient care. Combining your acupuncture specialty with technology could be a marvelous adventure and a benefit to those who want to learn more about acupuncture and those needing to receive advanced therapies.
