Hi, My name is Samar. I worked in the Banking industry as an IT professional for over 20 years, and I’m going through a job identity crisis, I spent a year learning hobbies by studying photography and Makeup Artistry. And now I want to go back to my old passion of programming, wishing to be a developer in the Crypto space.

I was trading during the end of 2017, and in early 2018 when Crypto market crashed. I couldn’t handle the losses and decided to leave Crypto. But with what happened during COVID, I found myself passionate about it again and willing to give myself another chance.

Hoping to learn development for now and then one day start a business in this field.

Hi all, my name is Paul and I have just signed up for the Ivan on Tech course. I am looking forward to digging into this material. I have just wrote a profile so i will post it here to introduce myself:

My background is in the Fitness Industry where i have lead management rolls for the last 10 years in Thailand. It is something that i have perused passionately as i have strove to develop myself into a true Fitness Professional. That is until 2017, when i embarked down the rabbit hole of the blockchain space. I have found myself venturing down 2 paths and have now met a fork in the road, due in part to COVID!!
I said to myself back in 2017 that if there was one thing that could make me change my 20 long year career in Fitness, it would be the blockchain space. I have found that plugging into this space has crowded out a lot of negativity that is perceived in the world as this space provides so much hope and endless possibility for the future. I am excited to be a part of the blockchain revolution and obsessed to learn more and find new opportunity in this growing, revolutionary industry. Bring it on!!

Hi Samar, I can relate to a lot of what you have said here as i find myself in a similar situation… Except that i rode that 2.5 year red wave of depression and despair. It’s good to be green again!!!
Sounds like you have a great head start being from not only the banking industry but also as a tech professional. Sounds like your future is bright my friend :slight_smile:

Hi everyone,

I’m Andrew from San Diego, CA. My first exposure to crypto was actually back in high school (2011-2013), when you’d hear of people talking about it on Reddit and using it to transact on Silk Road etc. In 2017 a friend of mine tried teaching me about it, but I was a little overwhelmed with it all and ended up ignoring it (huge regrets lmao). But 2020 is when I caught the crypto bug. Summer 2020 I dabbled in Bitcoin and really got into the weeds of it towards the end of the year.

I’ve been on a tear since then gobbling up as much knowledge as I possibly can in a day. I love this space and hope to be a part of it for the long haul.

I graduated as an Industrial Engineer. Currently, I’m in digital marketing, specifically paid media planning/buying. On the side, I’ve been teaching myself to day trade in the equities market.

My goal here is to learn the fundamentals of the technology with the hopes of becoming a better investor and entrepreneur. I hope to build a network within the community and provide as much help as I possibly can. In the end, I think there’s no better way to set yourself up for future opportunities than just diving into this crazy world head first, as I believe the next 10 to 20 years will be filled with explosive innovation, growth, and life-changing wealth.

Hi Everyone,

I am Zeng from Singapore. I started trading in crypto currency just about 6 months ago. I was amazed by the industry and eventually got more involved with it. I have background in finance, and so I was doing crypto trading similar to trading equities and also some arbitraging. However, I know that there is much more to crypto and block chain technology than just trading it like a financial instrument, hence I want to know more. Previously I spent 7 years doing business in Myanmar. The Covid-19 lock down created lots of disruption and the recent military coup sort of put everything to a stand still. Hence I think that I will most likely be spending the bulk of this year with crypto, as I have few other commitment at the moment.

Grateful to be here.
I have been interested in crypto and invested a bit of money, regularly, into Bitcoin for a few years now through a coinbase account I set up, probably in the ‘hysteria’ phase of the 2017 bull run. I never took much notice of other cryptos until recently. Lockdowns have given me more time to do other stuff and more recently I have been researching and investing in more alt coins but feel I am at a disadvantage due to a lack of knowledge.
I have been following Ivan and other youtubers to improve my knowledge and that is how I stumbled across the academy.
Whilst trading is my main interest, through listening to Ivan I have become interested in taking things further and so I am excited about the future. My ambition now is to create a start up in this space…

Hi Community, my user name is LuckyLuke, because I feel lucky to be here and it was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a child :slight_smile: . I´m working in Recruitment/HR/Sales for some years now and I´m interested in Crypto, starting with buying Bitcoin an making my first gains in 2020. Now I was listening to Ivan in the webinar, and realizing that Block chain has more opportunities that just in finance and money transfer. My knowledge about Block chain is beginner level (I´m just a starter) an I see the future in this industry, plus have had nice experiences from trading. I´m from Germany, but live in Portugal for some years. Meditation certainly help keeping calm but energetic in all aspects of my life (when pumps and dumps, equanimity helps a lot :smiley: ) So let´s get into Blockchain!

Hello everyone,

My name is Killian Combrouze, I am currently a 19 year old student in Florida with a crypto passion. I have so much interest in this growing industry that it has become an addiction at this point :joy: I’ve been investing in this market and HODLing since November 2020. However, I know there is more to cryptos than just investing or trading, I told myself it was never too late to go full-time. I’m interested in finding as many different ways to make more money in this booming industry. My goal is to grab every opportunity I have, such as these courses, to help me fulfill my goals. In addition, I’ve been a big fan of Ivan’s YouTube channel where he has taught me so much already. In spite of that, I’m ready to take that leap of faith and dive deeper to learn new ways on how to improve my portfolio and change my life :eyes:

My name is Joseph and I have been following IOT for a couple of years now and recently signed up for the academy to go full time crypto. I have a background in traditional finance and worked for a top equity asset manager the last few years in our business development department. I hope to learn the necessary skills in blockchain and couple that with my existing capital markets knowledge to have a successful future in crypto.
