My name is Brendan.
I own a fraction of a bitcoin and a few Ethereum and Chanlink.
I got an engineering degree in 2015, graduated on the honor roll, passed the FE exam, applied for probably about 1000 tech jobs since then, and never even got invited to an interview. All the entry-level jobs require years of experience. I learned some machine learning algorithms from Udemy, then did some simple programming and data science projects and applied for jobs, and was similarly ignored as when I applied for engineering jobs.
Now I work in a warehouse lifting heavy things, and it is the best paying job I’ve ever had.
I have been doing all the bullshit I was asked to do and jumped through hoops my entire life, and have never been rewarded for it. I hope I will get rewarded for jumping through the hoops here to learn about crypto.
The thing I find most attractive about crypto are the smart contracts. That is because it seems like a way to establish trust without requiring faith in an authority. But after so many years of career disappointments, I’d scrub toilets over crypto if it paid more.

Hi everyone! My name is Phoenix, I live in Washington state, USA, and I currently work as a retail shift manager. I discovered Bitcoin and blockchain in October 2020 and immediately became obsessed. Something in me just “clicked” when I learned about Bitcoin. I learned everything I could about it, and I began investing everything I could spare. I began scraping the bottom of the knowledge barrel by the end of 2020, but I’m still ravenous for more. Watching daily price action may occupy time, but it doesn’t bring me the knowledge and opportunity I crave.
I’m finally taking the plunge into becoming a blockchain developer to feed my addiction to this knowledge, and finally direct my career into something I love. Soon, I want to quit my full-time day job and dive into this industry to build on this incredible technology and be a direct part of this mind-blowing revolution. I’ve never felt so strongly and passionately about anything in my entire life as I do about blockchain and DeFi. The things I’ve seen in the DeFi space and the potential they possess I cannot get out of my head, there simply is no going back now–I have to be here. I feel “the call” just as you do.
I look forward to meeting and networking with other like-minded crypto-fanatics who want to be a part of this immensely powerful revolution, and who want to build a bright and amazing future. Whether we are collaborating or competing, I believe we will build a better future for everyone (while making a nice stack of sats along the way 
).

Hey cryptopreneurs (is this a word?) I am in the Atlanta area. Cannot make most of the You Tube calls live since they are in the middle of the night here. I do watch the recordings and they are great. Been an active investor for about a year. Still working part time in my law business at age 65 but will not be getting involved in the business side of blockchain only the investing (hopefully more successful) side. Look forward to sharing ideas in the forum
I’m new to the academy. I’m from Jamaica, living in Canada now . Love the volatility and technology of Crypto. I missed being at the beginning of the Internet, Crypto is next and it’s not missing me. Let’s learn, earn and have fun!! lol

I am an investor, online marketer, leadership coach/trainer, and engineer who worked with IBM, Motorola, and Apple but left the corporate work back in 2009. First got into btc in 2012 but really started focusing more in the crypto space in 2015.
I am very passionate about technology and personal development. I am also a musician and love to travel… well except for right now but hoping to get back to traveling soon .
Here to sharpen my skills in the crypto realm and to met/connect with amazing people within the crypto space from around the world.

Hey everyone, my name is Dustin. I live in New York and sell cars at Romeo Ford. I have always been in car sales, my Dad did it and taught me the trade before he died, and need to upgrade my skill set. I have a wife and 2 beautiful children. I see a bright future for them.
I enjoy this community, even though the scammers can be rough. Thank you for your insight, I will try to catch up and keep up. I have never programmed or coded before. But I think I’m in the right place to help me find what I can use.

Technology is my passion and I also want to be an entrepreneur. I hope this academy will help me to fulfill two main objectives. First, get a full-time remote work on this amazing growing industry.
