Hey Ivan and forum!

I am an American ex-pat living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and I teach science and math to little ones at an international school here and a bar co-owner.

When I am not working I really enjoy swimming (use to train as well Ivan!), yoga, sauna time at the gym and hanging out with friends. I also used to DJ quite a bit around the region.

I watch Ivan’s channel often and he has shed a lot of light on the potential of this industry and I want to learn a lot and possible seek a new type of exciting employment. Thanks for creating this academy and I look forward to interacting and working hard through the material.

Hi y’all! My name is Chris, I’m an American living in Texas. Please don’t hold that against me; I didn’t storm the Capital in Washington DC last week and I don’t have a Confederate flag and a shotgun hanging up in the back window of my Chevy pickup. Most of us are actually really good people with big hearts. We drink black coffee with no milk no sugar, only Jameson and Bailey’s.

Originally from Nor-Cal, graduated from the University of Nevada/Reno, moved to TX in 2018 and was bitten by the crypto bug early in 2019. Now I’m hopelessly obsessed and addicted to learning as much as I can about the space, blockchain tech, the crypto markets, DApps/smart contract programming and building an international empire from scratch.

Have ZERO programming experience. Absolutely none. Nothing. None whatsoever. I can’t even spell JavaSkriptt or See++ correctly. That’s the bad news, the challenging part.

The good news is I have a professional background in commercial banking, corporate finance, trading, lending and not losing my client’s money (at least most of the time). Also bartending and strip/gentlemen’s club management (true story! it was a great gig when I was in college).

I love the novelty and volatility of trading and investing in crypto. I love it. I love that the industry is sooo new and there is nothing but blue sky and unlimited opportunity ahead for all of us on here. I don’t love losing 90% of my money in an afternoon though, as I’m sure many of you crypto enthusiasts can relate. I love the big swings/dips, although it’s more of a LOVE/HATE relationship. Hence I signed up for Ivan’s courses. Ivan your content on YouTube, Twitter etc is priceless. Thank you, I appreciate it and I’m stoked to be here.

I enrolled in IOT Academy for many of the same reasons y’all did, and I’m looking forward to getting to know all y’all and becoming a sponge to soak up all these awesome courses and community info. The goal is to become wiser, more knowledgeable and by the time the next crypto winter arrives, I’m re-skilled in blockchain tech, programming, Defi, smart contract development, etc. Very interested in ETH projects, and extremely interested in ADA as well.

About me: I love to snowboard, do anything fitness related, trade equities and crypto (or at least attempt to not lose my money trading crypto), travel to anywhere in the world other than Texas, eat Indian and Thai food, meet new and interesting people, fight with my girlfriend and bartend events/parties/concerts on the weekends. When I grow up I want to be like Vitalik, or Charles Hoskinson. Or Gordon Gekko. Or Hugh Hefner (when he was alive, of course).

I have my dear friend already in accademy… He have introduced me to Ivan on tech accademy and immediately got on board… I need this, I need to grow up my knowledge and to increase my goals.
“Techology is my passion in life” me too dear Ivan. I was employed in many industries with development and support on new technology. I have worked in many areas with different roles from helpdesk, by network in bank, to pharmaceuticals warehouse . I was mainly focused on hardware assembly, then I went more front-end e back-end development. All that only possible with my passion and my hard work and application. Mainly self-taught and not without difficulties .
NOW in the last year (better late than never) i start my study on bitcoin, blockchain, Satoshi WhitePaper and all the universe is behind that . Now with this step forward with you and the accademy i want go more deep as I can.
