Hello I am Michael from US.
New to crypto and joined academy just to try to understand basics how to use crypto.
I need to figure out where to ask really basic questions.
Like I keep seeing that people have their crypto safe by memorizing their private key.
Is that really done? or even possible? Just one key? keep seeing “keys” (plural) mentioned as well.
Does the key go to the bitcoin? Or can I attach the same key to all other crypto as well?

I learned computers back in the days of DOS and Basic, eventually learned HTML back in the days of Web 1.0, but never attempted to make a livelihood out of my interest in computers and programming.
I’m hoping to change that in the near future, learning about blockchain technology with an eye toward getting a full time job in the field. I’m excited to delve deeply into this new time of devoted learning, and can’t wait to get to know some of you on the way.

My name is Kerri, I live in New York and I first invested in BTC and ETH in April 2020. I studied everything I could on YouTube and found my favorites, I signed up for newsletters etc. But I have not yet found my community, so I am aiming to create one here. I may chose to change my profession from a personal trainer who owns my own boutique fitness studio for the past 15 years to a full-time crypto trader if I can remove emotions to a disciplined degree and really learn the fundamentals here. I may even be open to working for a Blockchain startup by the end of this year! Bottom line, I am excited to learn from this community. Congratulations on building such an amazing network of people, an incredible channel, and here’s to our exciting lives ahead! I am open to discussing Altcoin projects etc. and would love to learn more about this topic as I am aiming to trade almost daily this year.

I am making a similar journey as you-- *disclaimer, I’m not a former pro tennis player, but I am a former pro hiphop dancer turned boutique fitness (think Pilates) studio owner who is now making the transition for working out all day for a living to living on the computer many hours per day. It’s a tough transition for sure and my body craves more movement. However as you mentioned, I hope to be an early adopter of this technology and be relevant in the space.
