Hey Guys :wave:
My whole career I’ve been jelous of people telling me they want to go back to studying.
Working as a chef for 20 years has ofcourse taught me alot about food but also caused me to think about the future, ( working this hard until 75 years old) i mean thats another 37 years …

But going back to school in the traditional manner has never been of any interest.

In the bullrun of late 2017 i decided to shift my investing from traditional (stocks/commodities) to crypto, and since mid 2018 ive been Dc’a ing to the point that im 95% weight in crypto :sweat_smile:

But we all here know what is coming, right!?

Anyway, Ive always considered myself as a fast learner and one that enjoys learning new skills, this is why Im so excited to finally have joined the academy and wake up everyday knowing there is so much new information to take in and process!

I want to thank Ivan AND the team for putting this together and making it possible to learn and study my second passion (first is cooking) in life

Hi,
I go by the name of Ajab. I got into the crypto at the height of the 2017 crypto boom. Little did I realize that the crypto market would crash very shortly after I bought into Bitcoin. The blessing was that BTC was priced so high, I could not buy much. I did not get discourage and continued to research and learn when I came across DCA concept and was glad to be able to buy more BTC during the market crash! Since that time I’ve retired and have decided to pursue a 2nd career in crypto! I’ve completed my 2nd class and I’m looking forward to making a future for myself in crypto!

My name is Tom. I am fascinated by all things tech and have decided to dive full time into pursuing my goal to become a blockchain dev. I live and work in Silicon Valley, CA; however, this is my first foray into programming after graduating college years ago with an Architecture degree. We all know where the world is heading with bitcoin currently leading the cypherpunk digital revolution. All industries are adapting to this new standard and I’d like to be one of the pioneers leading the way after completing my courses.

I’m new to this field and have been working the last 30 years in management and mortgage/finance however I’m interested in pivoting into Fintech/Blockchain as this has fascinated me over the last year I’ve been looking into it. I feel this will be a very valuable use of my time and resources and can position me to expand my career, my income and ability to work remotely.

Hey guys,

I am Luis, born in Peru, lived half of my life in the Netherlands and am currently back in Lima, Peru since last year. My background is sports (american football) and sales/business development.

I have been into crypto and blockchain for about a year and a half and am facinated by it.

I would like to find a way to combine blockchain technology with sports as a way of aquiring funds for sports teams and/or athletes in third world countries, specifically Peru. I have been actively working as a volunteer in Peru assisting athletes in training and creating opportunities for them to play abroad. The biggest obstacle I have been facing is the lack of resources for equipment, rental of fields, supplements (which I have been putting out of my pocket for the past years) and I hope I can find a way of facilitating that, ideally with blockchain. I have no (official) prior programming experience but am very tech savy and learn quickly.

With this I hope to be able to create a sports facility or sports organization to help athletes, with lack of resources, reach their dreams!

I am also interested in learning more about technical analysis and how to properly use DeFi.

My learning goals would be:

-Programming
-Blockchain
-DeFi
-Technical Analysis

Happy to be a part of this great community as I am a big fan of the Ivan on Tech channel!

Hello everyone.

I’m Dan, and new to the Academy. I’m looking forward to completing the courses and the new possibilites it can provide. So glad and thankful for Ivan and the crew to organize this project which is very much needed, and will no doubt help so many people that are willing to help themselves.

I’ve been a programmer in the past, but just haven’t found the right area to apply my skills and interests. Blockchain and Crypto is definitely the way to go. So excited!

Hello I’m Andres and I’m a Colombian industrial designer, currently unemployed doing some bakery and gardening in my spare time other than studying crypto :wink:
Since the coronirona started I was enlighted and started my research on bitcoin now I have become a CRYPTO enthusiast thanks to IVAN.
My goal in the academy is learning more about trading, coding , blockchain and all about the crypto environment to spread the ghospel and hopefully find a path to start a blockchain related bussines that can bring wealth to me and my country.
