I am a family man who enjoys swimming, surfing, cycling and for the past year have been living a life of recovery from addiction. Onwards and upwards!

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad quite a while ago, but reading your post brought back some pretty funny memories of him trying to figure out how 14.4 kb/s dial up worked and swearing at his dinosaur desktop. Thanks for sharing your story.

Been in Crypto since 2017 but was to busy with my office job. Last April I started to follow Ivan daily with my partner(cause he is following Ivan since 2017). I finally decided to start the Academy, just finished Crypto for Beginners, i’m now following Blockchain and Bitcoin 101.
My main goal is to gain as much knowlegde as I can, to share it with others but especially on my Island.

I’m as excited as you are to learn about bitcoin and block chain. I bought some XRP but I truly don’t know enough about it except it’s the way things are going to go.

My name is Jerry Meadows and I live in America in the state of Arkansas (pronounced: Ark-can-saw) not “R” - can - sis. I bought my first Bitcoin in early January 2017. At 67 years old I could see that another opportunity of a lifetime was before me again. In the early 1990s, I had the opportunity to buy 10,000 shares of Microsoft! I DIDN’T!!! This time, however, I have chosen to add knowledge to my gut feeling that the crypto world will soon become the driving force of the world economies. The learning curve for me has been more like a rocket launch. My basic understanding of using a computer is very limited. Maintaining passwords is even a major challenge for me. Still, I press on knowing I am headed in the right direction.

Suhaimi here, it has been a slow start for me at the beginning juggling with projects on hand and set aside time diligently to get the habit of login to the Academy. I must say that the “Achievements & Leaderboard” gamification section is a genius idea as it helps to build the motivation and consistency to actively engaging in the academy. Overall, I am glad to be part of this community and academy. Looking forward to exploring and engage this magical Crypto/Blockchain/BitCoin universe with all of you. 
Much respect to Ivan and team for putting up the podcast, that takes really hustle & discipline to execute on an almost daily basis. It keeps us up-to-date of the constantly ever-changing world of crypto we are living.

I was introduced to Bitcoin about 2 years ago when a former co-worker got into politics and became the chairman of the Wyoming Block chain Task Force. After following Tyler Lindholm and Caitlin Long I was immediately hooked! I bought my first Bitcoin in Feb 2019 and have been hodling ever since.
Gillette Wyoming is known as the energy capital of the world due to the abundant amount of coal mined in the area. I have watched the coal industry boom and bust and I feel the end is near so I am excited to learn a new career in blockchain!
