Hi, I’m Chris, I currently work as a Mechanical Engineer, also with some background in IT and Economics. I started learning about Blockchain technology in 2018 and up to that point had only heard about Bitcoin a couple times, vague terms like "Cryptocurrency, and had read about the Silk Road scandal. I have been an enthusiast of the technology since first understanding Bitcoin was a response to 2008 Financial Crisis and the first use-case for Blockchain as a means of providing freedom to people through decentralization. I’m eager to learn more, meet some interesting people, and find my space within Blockchain.

My name is Gabriel. I became very interested in cryptocurrency in the summer of 2020 and since then it is a passion. I want to understand blockchain technology at a deeper level and this is why I am here. My wish is that I can contribute to this space in one way or another. But first I need to improve and knowledge is power. I am quite a noob right now and I don’t like it because I have a feeling this is the big thing that will change the world. I’m Dutch, living in The Netherlands, 39 years old father, working in the traditional finance industry and international trade. I’m in the crypto / blockchain space for 3 years now, educating myself but really waiting for an academy like this which I can combine with my day-to-day obligations.
My (short- medium) goal is to gain as much knowledge as I can in this space to give me an edge in my current career path, but the ultimate goal is to find my passion and to go full-time crypto on it.
I’m just going to absorb it all as a sponge, see what sticks and where the rabbit hole takes me.

My name is Sibin and I’ve decided to pull the trigger and start the academy because I’ve realized the power this holds for our future. I’m currently working in healthcare but I anticipate the future will bring many opportunities to marry the two professions. I have never coded a day in my life so I’m both anxious and excited to start this program. Couldn’t find too many people reviewing the course on Youtube but put my faith in Ivan and here we are. I’m E. I’m moving slower through course than planned but I will see it through the end. Technology on this level is foreign to me. My goal is to be a blockchain developer and grow from there.

My goals are not yet defined but I would like to explore the potential of crypto in the world… and then more traveling and less working

Hello, my name is Abdul.
Crypto and BC technology has caught my attention and I am very curious to learn this technology.
I haven’t had much success with school in Uni. I had a lot of trouble applying to internships and I had crippling anxiety from interviews. I am hoping that my anxiety and difficulty will be alleviated once I start learning something new and fascinating. I do plan to continue Uni someday and obtain a comp sci degree, but I have always had a problem trying to figure out what I want to specialize in. I want to have a sense of what field I want to build a career in before I graduate.
I am hoping that this academy will help me specialize in the blockchain field and I hope to start building real-world experience and knowledge, so that I may be able to land a programming internship followed by a job.
I must admit that I am nervous to start this journey, but I literally have nothing left to lose. Here we go.

Hi Everyone! My name is Kirsten and I’ve been invested in bitcoin since 2011 - except sadly, I sold all my coins in 2012 
Since then, I learned my lesson and got back in a few years ago. I mostly like Bitcoin, Eth, Litecoin, Theta, Polkadot and Chainlink but I have little amounts in many other coins because I listen to Ivan every morning. He’s so positive and smart, and during this depressing time in the world, he is always focused and happy so I figure whatever he’s working on must be going in the right direction lol. I am an under employed church musician at the moment - I play keyboard and direct choirs, but not sure if choir singing will survive corona. Lots of time on my hands and a passion for crypto, so I guess let’s see where this goes! I have a 15 year old son who is studying with me as well (danielcurrie). Cheers!
