After Covid shutdown everything I struggled to find some type of mental engagement since Jiu-Jitsu was no longer open in my state. This eventually led to me learning, and eventually hosting games of Dungeons & Dragons. One of the players got me set up with with Coinbase and a few Youtube channels Since then I’ve been fascinated with the possibilities of blockchain and I want to contribute to a better world through decentralization!

I have been working in the energy market for some years now. Now that the trend of renewable energies have passed, I came to the realization that I should move out for several reasons:
The crypto world in the contrary could really shaken the world for good and it’s a very promising sector with highly motivated freaks working the ass off to build something meaningful (and make crazy profits ) So I hope that I that I can make a career change and feel myself better in this new world, spending already days on weird telegram channels and watching Ivan every day haha. Going full time was only an obvious step for me. So wish me good luck !

Hopefully everyone is doing well and I am excited to see if it was the right decision to sign up for the Academy. I’ve been interested in the technology since 2017 and lost interest, as I lost my investments at this time as well 
In the beginning of this year I started to look into it again and watch pretty much every YT’er that is existing and talking about the matter 
As I am working (still am) in the tourism industry and realized it won’t recover soon, I wanted to explore some other areas which I found interesting and a passion in.
I am looking forward to the future assignments and hope to get to know some of you more closely in the future!

I first heard of bitcoin back in 2011-12 from Max Keiser and his show ‘The Keiser Report’. Sadly, I didn’t invest back then (tried to mine bitcoin but gave up shortly thereafter) 
My interest in the space came back at the end of last year and I’ve now started to invest in some cryptocurrencies as well as reading up on the technology behind it.
I have an educational background in Marketing so I’m completely new to programming. But hopefully that’ll all change once I “graduate” from this Academy

My name is Dan I live in the UK and was a waiter for a living.
Unfortunately during the global pandemic and during lock down I lost my Dad, while having a lot of time not working and deep in thought through grief I came to a decision I wanted to set myself away from the old ways of the world, I could clearly see it was slowly falling apart.
So I considered taking onboard wise words my Dad used to enforce onto my while I was growing up “get into computers, focus on the future of technology” him being the kind of guy that jumped on the band wagon of the first home computers, and the release of the internet to the public.
Somewhere along my journey of trying to set up an online business I was accidentally reintroduced back into bitcoin. Well I wanted to see how far it had come from the days of buying illegal substances on the dark web. So have been researching it and diving deeper and deeper since April/May.
I’m so obsessed with this crypto space now I forget no one around me understands what the hell i am going on about.
I’m really please I found Ivan on Tech youtube channel and have invested into this academy. I really look forward to learning as much as I can, as I am obsessed with learning, but also where my journey goes from here.
I am looking to help spread the word by creating my own website/Blog in the hopes to help market and promote some really awesome projects i’m invested in and future projects. As well as help educate those that don’t understand it yet.
If I learn some other things on the way like coding, even better, the more I know the better my chances.
Well its great being here and I’m sure my Dad would be proud this opportunity is available to me, I know he would be jumping at the chance to get involved with it all.
