Good morning! I am Jan and the first time I heard of blockchain / Bitcoin was around 2010. Since May this year I didn’t really get into it (even though I’m really interested in tech) so finally I realized the huge potential of blockchain and crypto.
I tried programming (C#) a lot of times but never succeeded because the poor (free) tutorials on the web. Now I joined the Academy because I want to change my life. And I think this will be a great start

My name is Harsha. I am based Melbourne Australia. Most of my work career I have been a Database Developer. Since last 3 years I have shifted my career towards Data Engineering and Data Science. I am currently working on a IoT project for a construction company. I do have intermediate programming skills in JavaScript. Hopefully can improve on that skill in the academy.
I have been following Crypto space since 2017 and I am convinced that this is the future of Internet and technology. I can see so many opportunities in this space that can be explored. I have been fascinated by Bitcoin and decentralization philosophy. I think along the way in last 10 years or so the openness and fairness in the internet has been lost. There is lot of injustice happening in the world both financially and socially. Hopefully crypto and blockchain can solve some of the problem if not all and bring the power back to the hands of common people.
Since 2017 I have been an enthusiastic crypto miner. I have Electronics and Communication Engineering degree and since early days I love to experiment with hardware technology. I had lost the interest for some time in between but crypto mining has brought that passion back. I have tried to learn blockchain programming a couple of time but due to some distractions in my work and personal life I did not follow through. I am hopeful this time it will be different. I think I have far more dedication and drive this time.
Other than that I am cycling enthusiast. I love riding and building motorcycle. Carpentry and Coffee are my other hobbies.

Hello my name is Caleb, I am 28 years old and come from Australia.
I have watched Ivan on Tech as a lurker since 2016 and have followed his development when he recorded on an iPhone. I truly hold his development as an inspiration and hope to reflect his success in my life.
My story may be a little personal; but from a young age I felt independent and driven. My father left when I was 5 and I left home when I was 15. Having to pay for board to my mother as young as 13 I felt I would leave home to get more for my money. Since then; money has been a very important driver in my life.
I honed into a very entrepreneurial mindset from the age of 10, mowing neighbours lawns and washing cars to pay for things like an Xbox, PSP and mountain bikes. If there wasn’t a cash flow I would chase it, creating advertising fliers that I would put into peoples letterboxes and also go door knocking for opportunities. (Society would make you feel that you can’t do that safely now in today’s era.)
Understanding the value of a $dollar I saw my purchasing power disappear as young as 12 when lollies and bags of chips from the local convenience store kept going up. I was annoyed one day when I could get 3 lollies for $0.05, then eventually you only got 3 for $0.10. This is where I understood inflation. But not how money actually worked. Then hormones kicked in and girls became my biggest driver. :’D
Fast forward to now I am devoting my spare time to learning blockchain and storing my money in crypto currencies!
Before all this I learned some hard lessons with Ponzi schemes like USI-Tech and Bitconnect. I also lost a lot of money to the IOTA website wallet seed generator hack. This gave light to 2 phrases I hold dear now; “Not your keys not your coins” and “Verify, don’t trust”, being derived from the fact that I trusted in others who told me what I wanted to hear and buy into “passive income schemes” while not being in control of my actual wealth.
With that all behind me, I have no regrets. So I plan to gain everything back by working in this industry! I hope the Ivangelical Church can educate me down the right path and lead me to success! xD haha
Today on top of my fulltime job in high end retail I share a simultaneous love for freshwater aquatic flora and fauna. I have turned it into a side hustle that funds my dollar cost averaging into bitcoin, while enjoying its full potential. I’m not very athletic but when I am passionate about things I always go into them with 100% willpower.

Yes, I believe the real life changing money will come when we create programs that change the world. When the collapse does come, we need to do our best to remind people that it is not due to the caronavirus or Donald Trump; but, FIAT currency and should not be a surprise to anyone that it did because every FIAT in world history that been created eventually fails.

Hello everybody! My name is Chris. I started watching Ivans video’s a couple years back, when I first began my journey down the crypto rabbit hole in early 2017. I live in the US and work within the industrial commercial real estate market. Warehouses to be exact. I’ve known for a while now that real estate isn’t where my heart resides however, the light of the crypto/blockchain industry has warmed my cheeks and I now, after 32 years of breathing, know exactly where I want to focus the majority of my attention and creativity. I couldn’t be more excited to get started on my first course within the academy and begin my journey to be in crypto full-time.

Hey everyone, Im Barzo. I worked in Security for many years and I trade crypto on the side. I was also a Wushu champion for many years. Im from the UK but have currently relocated to Sweden where im taking a gap year to settle my family and learn blockchain programming.
