hey guys my name is andre, from nyc been involved in the crypto market since the fall from the all time high in bitcoin. lol I missed the bull market and got torn by the bear but I stood there to stack sats. I missed out cause I was depended on other people to give me reassuring info. never again, as I started to do my own research I understood this was a great new tech for the future and made me continue to invest in the space. Im here to learn more because I understand there is more room to grow for me in this tech as it also grows within itself. Im hoping I can make a career change into anything crypto because I understand this is the future that I want to be part of. I hope to make new friends because as all you guys know a lot people cannot stand when we talk anything about crypto, well for me that’s how it is as I cannot even talk to people around me even as I try to teach or show them this new tech, lol they just don’t want to hear me.

Hello! Foon from Hong Kong here. Previously I worked as technical support then gradually turned to information security. Like many folks, I lost my job few months ago because the companies I worked for went into trouble because of COVID-19. I hope the courses here offers some additional career opportunities.
About my crypto history - My first touch with crypto was a long time ago - in 2014 or 2015 I forgot. However, at that time crypto was not my primary intention. Actually I was thinking of a way to step up the security level of Internet access at home, and I found VPN. After some research I found that many VPN service providers offer crypto payments. This is where I discovered bitcoin.
At first I tried the Windows Bitcoin Core software to see if there is any bitcoin to be dropped to my computer but no luck. After some research I found that it is possible to exchange cryptos with fiat currency, and since then I used bitcoin to pay the VPN fees. At that time I used it as a currency rather than some form of investment. I only exchanged what I absolutely needed to and nothing more. I never realize that it could moon until it worths several thousands of USD per bitcoin. At that time it was too late.
I tried to catch up by putting a small bag of ETH in every fine ICO project I came across in ICO era, but I found that I could only verify them by what business they are doing, their company information, and other high-level information just like analysing stocks. I have no way to verify on their technical side as I know nothing about them, and I have no time to learn the technology behind due to my stressful work at that time. When the ICO era died down I put everything crypto aside - some tokens bought was never collected, and I lost some crypto when exchanges like Cryptopia broke…
About a month ago I crossed path again with cypto, and found another big hit aka DeFi. Even better is that this time I come across Ivan on Tech which offers very high quality, up-to-date training about crypto, and the whole great community here. This time I’m not alone. I won’t let the chance going away again. I can’t promise anything at this moment but I’ll try my best. Let’s say hi and learn together! Thanks Ivan and thank you all!

Hi, I’m Vlad. I’m 22 , originally Latvian ,living in Ireland. I’m new to crypto and blockchain and I’m interested in learning about these topics. I watch YouTube videos on crypto to catch up with the latest news on these topics, especially Ivans channel. I just finished my bachelors degree in economics. While I’m taking a year out to save up money for my masters degree in finance I decided to enroll to ivan on tech academy to understand more about blockchain and cryptocurrency, as I believe these will be the future. Hopefully, if I’ll understand blockchain Technology and Crypto I’ll consider in working in those areas in the future. In my free time, i like going to the gym and hanging out with my friends.
