I have first come in contact with cryptocurrency in 2013 just after the bull run, then started trading on btc-e until the beginning of the second bull run… (For those who don’t know, the exchange got taken down by our American friends…

I’m excited to join the group and begin what may be a life-changing journey.
My name is Derek, I am 53, from Scotland, and I live on the Island of Phuket. I semi-retired after a 20 year career in IT (some old rubbish programming languages like VB 6 with client server applications), Computer Forensics & eDiscovery. In the final stages of my old career I was a Partner at Ernst & Young’s Greater China region. In my spare time in Thailand I manage a portfolio of AirBnB properties in Thailand, but with the onset of C-19, there is very little to do, and the future is very uncertain - so I was looking for a change.
I have been investing small amounts in Crypto since early 2018 with some small successes and a lot a lot a lot of failures. I have been a daily viewer of Good Morning Crypto for the past 6 months and Ivan has inspired me to learn something new and perhaps find an interesting way to be more involved in this exciting new industry.
I hope that I can learn enough in the coming months to be able to look for some remote development or consulting work.

I have educated myself about it by reading related materials and listening to videos online. I have benefited following and listening to Ivan’s daily videos. I want to take it to the next level where I can confidently invest and talk about cryptocurrency and blockchain. I therefore, need to learn this systematically and in a structured manner. That is why I enrolled myself to the course to learn and improve my knowledge.

Hi, my name is Rich in living in UK and currently working full time as a network specialist. I’ve been into crypto since FOMO-ing in at the top of the last bull run and losing most of my investment in the great bear market of 2018-2019, but never lost my interest in crypto and trading.
Signed up for the free webinar last night, sat back, had a beer … BOOM!
30 mins later I’ve signed up to the full academy experience!..
So just yeah, really excited and can see this is the future, and so many people still totally clueless about it. Ironically (since today!) my job may be changing soon and i’ll need to learn loads more technologies, so my heads in a bit of a spin right now, but really excited to do this and see where it all leads.
GAME ON!
Looking forward to who knows what the future will hold…

I’ve been an residential architect since 2001. I have 6 children from 20yrs old to 3 yrs old and I have been so fascinated with blockchain for so long that I believe my time has come to switch gears and change careers! The world is a fast moving place. I’m starving for the knowledge to step my game up! Surpass the current times and the majority of the population. In order to position myself and my resume to be at the top of well paying companies lists of new and experienced blockchain developers. Again Thank You!

Hello everyone! My name is Cameron. I am from the state of Kansas in the United States. I make my living as an ESL teacher. Besides learning about crypto, I enjoy reading, traveling, long-distance running, learning languages, listening to music, and tending to my vegetable garden.
I can’t really tell you how I came into the cryptospace. I started watching YouTube videos about Bitcoin and was really drawn by the idea of a decentralized currency. Before I knew it, I had joined the Academy.
I have been in the Academy for a little over two weeks. I probably should have made my introduction first, but “better late than never” as they say. I’ve recently completed my first course, Bitcoin and Blockchain 101, and I’ve learned so much about Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
My primary interest for joining the Academy was to learn about Bitcoin, Ethereum, privacy coins, and DeFi. However, I am also interested in trying my hand at programming.

Hi, my name is Bob and I live in Arizona, USA. I have been a gold and silver bug for many years and for many years I have dismissed Bitcoin as being just some kind of fleeting tech fad. I guess I spent way too many years listening to Peter Schiff’s opinion of Bitcoin. Then out of curiosity one day I started looking at YouTube channels regarding crypto currencies and stumbled across Ivan’s channel. I then starting watching his show every day for a couple of weeks and was extremely impressed by his level of knowledge and insight. Ivan is a true genius, no doubt about it! And thanks to him I am now a believer. I can’t wait to learn all there is to know about crypto currencies, blockchain development and especially DeFi. It’s time to put an end the funny money regime of the Central Banksters!
