If not the oldest member in the academy, I’m pretty sure I’m in the top 1% for age. 67 years, 8 months, 1 week, and ? days !
Trying to keep/make my retirement solvent. Got a lot of irons in the fire, financial, personal, and spiritual. I’ll probably be a little slower than most in my studies, but I will get 'er done!

They all say to automate, but hardly anyone really does…
My expertise is in Big Data, I’m a Splunk Architect for 6 years now and before that I was a WebSphere engineer (working with jvm application servers)
I want to start over in the exciting world of crypto and hope to learn a lot of new things from you guys.

Hello my name is Mark and i come from Nottingham England and i’m 47 years young. I’m a keen sportsman but after retiring from team sports i discovered crypto. I’ve helped on a few crypto projects before bringing in users and being in a position of support but now its time i think i learned everything and become a developer myself.
I do have a current project being developed but whilst that is being done i can start learning myself.

My name is Luis, but my friends call me Lucho. I’m from El Salvador, but I currently live in Toronto. I was in the Canadian Armed Forces for 6 years as a Vehicle Technician, where a colleague first introduced me to Forex and Investing. I then spent 3 years working for Schlumberger in Alberta as a Coiled Tubing Services Field Specialist, where I was able to learn more about business and global economics. The party ended short for me in early 2015 when the barrel collapsed, but gave me the opportunity to travel the world for a year.
The military made me pacifist, the oil patch made me an environmentalist and being exposed to the world was the catalyst to my interest in Crypto. In 2016, I entered the world of Crypto as an investor/speculator, and immediately felt the potential of Ethereum.
Done with the rat race, I’ve been bar tending in Toronto for the past few years, funneling my currency and leveraging my flexible schedule to humor my entrepreneurial spirit.
I’ve been watching, listening and laughing with Ivan On Tech on Youtube for about 6 months now, and today I completed my first Webinar, where Ivan’s Silver(or should I say Litecoin) Tongue reminded me that there is no time like now.
I’m finally starting my true Blockchain Education, and I’m very pleased to be here!

Niel is the name, and I’m from Johannesburg, South Africa, and traveled at least 33 times round the Sun.
I’m a Software Developer by trade, with more than 10 years experience, specializing mainly in native C & C++ on Linux & Unix based systems. Been playing around with PC’s from a very young age, and discovered the power of programming using Turbo Pascal, and was immediately convinced about “what I wanted to be when I grow up”. I’m a curios person especially when it comes to Tech, and have adopted a fair amount of skill over many different programming languages.
I’m extremely excited about this journey, and hope to eventually get to meet all of you.
