Ben here, just getting started, truly at stage zero but I plan to get a lot done this summer and hopefully over the next year have a better idea about a long-term plan transitioning to blockchain and related tech. Simply HODLing may be lucrative, but I’m much more curious about being actively involved in some way and it would be great to contribute and actually be a part of it.

Hi guys and gals, I’m Hubert. I come from Poland, and I’ve been living in the UK for the past 10 years. I’ve been trading crypto, currency pairs and tech stonks since 2017, and my academic background is mechanical engineering (Loughborough uni, still in progress).
I’ve been in touch with crypto since 2014, when I mined my first 1k DOGE on my PC. The interest died out until 2nd year of Uni when I started trading, or rather getting lucky with the bull run. Starting with low-cap alts, I progressed to leverage bitcoin trading and explored forex and tech stocks. Tried various strategies, indicators, explored algo trading etc. - luckily, after 3 years I can say I’m still in decent profit overall, although some lessons have been costly. I’m still learning and developing my trading edge, and I hope it’ll never stop. One thing I learned over the past three years is that it’s healthy to diversify your income sources, and that’s one of the reasons why I’m here.
More importantly - I am a free thinker, I often come up with unconventional ideas, and I love technology and engineering, so I joined the academy to develop my skills enough to be an active part of the revolution - prospectively in the industries I’m familiar with: mech engineering, warehousing and logistics. Or maybe others, who knows?

Hi everyone, my name is Jonatan and I am from a cold city in the northern part of Sweden and currently living is Oslo, Norway.
I have a rather sad background in crypto by investing heavily in Onecoin in early 2016 and had religious beliefs that it would skyrocket in the coming years only to have everything shattered.
I then decided to really dig into the cryptocurrency space on a deeper level and create a better understanding of the underlying fundamentals. I signed up on friday and just finished Blockchain & Bitcoin 101. Love it so far!
As for my computer background it isn’t a whole lot, I have experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript and looking forward to expand on the programming area as well as game development.
Hi, I’m Mike. I’m interested in formal education on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. I’ve been watching Bitcoin Ben on youtube for some time and figured I’d give this academy a try, since I’m interested in employment in the field.

Hi guys. Wow I am impressed by the sheer community size in here. I am here to absorb and learn all I can. I enjoying watching Ivan often and learn so much just from his streams. He has a big personality. I am not a coder but I have good analytical skills as I have been trading a few years of stocks and crypto and a huge fan of defi gaming dapps! I also do some television acting in real life. However the more I learn the more I don’t know. I am a big fan of asking questions, critical thinking, personal growth, etc. I have ideas of creating a new economic system for people in the future, perhaps I might get there one day learning this stuff.

Hello, my name is Joe from Adelaide, Australia and I started this course a few days ago. Been a crypto and Ivan fan since early 2017 and now finally decided to look at a career change into something that excites me like this.
My background is interesting (considering the new DEFI space). You see I had my own business as a mortgage broker (using state of the art systems) and later worked in a large bank in the insurance space for a while (using terrible, but expensive to change, legacy systems).
Add to this that I was an ICT Manager (knew how to code a bit too) before my career change into finance and you can see why I may have a unique perspective of these two worlds and why it makes sense to get involved at a deeper level.
Just finished BTC 101 and although I knew most of it, it did fill some gaps in my knowledge and the learning platform is excellent!
PS:
As an aside, my interests are golf and coffee - black no milk guys - (but I’m not as sweet as Ivan so I need a little raw sugar, lol) However, my main hobby is original music, check out song: “HODL on to me” at: souljars.net
