Introduce yourself

Way to get a early start! I think having this knowledge going into your formal studies will help you really conceptualize and see bigger pictures.

Props to you for being a part of this community, my friend!

Hey Craig, pleasure to have you aboard the community! I share a lot of similar interests to you in the sense that i feel as though I missed on programming and computer science early on in life. Now I am also working hard to learn all about the basics of programming up on through smart contracts and the ability to utilize the Enjin SDK’s to create decentralized gaming possibilities!!

Excited to be on this journey with you ^^

I have been into Blockchain tech for aprox 2 years now. I find this life changing tech totally fascinating and am completely obsessed with it if I’m honest. In this respect I want to expand my knowledge in this area to learn how to programme Smart Contracts and eventually move into this area as a career going forward.

I have just completed the Blockchain Fundamentals course and am looking forward to the programming courses. I’m sure I will have many questions for you and I hope you will be happy to support me.

Thanks in advance, Darren.

Hi Victor, Thanks for reaching out. School holidays at the moment in the UK so allocating my time as and when, as I have 5 wonderful children. However, from September I will be full time allowing me to absorb more of the tech. Glad to hear your are also concentrating in the field of gaming and on the same path -Lets keep in touch? I am deeply determined and as I have had a self-employed small business past i’m very much self motivated. I am hoping I can create something excellent over time (if possible). I have got the drive just need the knowledge and a concept  Great to chat :+1:

Hi, I’m Shokunin, I became interested in crypto 3 years ago. I’ve been following Ivan on YouTube for almost 2 years. No programming experience but my goal is to get some basic programming knowledge with concentration on blockchain and smart contracts.

That is amazing my friend, family is what makes all of our efforts worthwhile. I got into Bitcoin in the first place because I wanted a way to leave financial independence to my family at a point when I may not be around or be able to support them anymore. I think if I play things right, we will have a comfortable life, and my kids may some day grow up to be masters of the technological era they will inherit from us. To help aid that, I want to learn programming well enough that I can help teach them at an early age. And for me, I am keen on learning how Decentralized Gaming with Enjin and other projects looks from the smart contract layer. There is a lot of opportunity here for creating your own enterprise, especially if you are already familiar with that world to begin with. Always happy to get into deeper convos about the things interesting us in our Academy learning, or otherwise!

Nice to meet you, Shokunin! I too have very limited programming knowledge, but these Academy courses are phenomenal at taking us from 0 knowledge up through understanding and even mastery!

I am now running a Bitcoin full node and couldn’t be happier about it! Working on Javascript now, just a few hours every night and I am already seeing results. My plan is to design a website for some family as my test case for the knowledge I am trying to absorb.

What aspect of blockchains and smart contracts are most interesting to you?

Hi everyone!
I’m a french Canadian, from Quebec region. I’m really loving nature, our planet and technology. Also like being active (walk, swimming, outdoor activities(even if I’m in a city so its hard to organise them))

I discovered blockchain in May 2017 but Hodled XD yes you know the story. I’ve explored, did marketing, airdrop, did moderation for the COSS exchange, played around trading. The whole SHABAM  :stuck_out_tongue:! But I wasn’t finding my place in the crypto-sphere.

Now it’s been since early 2018 I’ve started interesting my self to programming. I’m comfortable with GoogleAppScript (an adaptation of JavaScript for google cloud), also as basic reading of HTML&CSS.

On this I wish everyone best of luck in their studies and reach out if you have any questions.
Thanks for reading my intro.

Greetings all. I am Reggie from New Jersey USA. I am excited about Blockchain and a decentralized form of currency that the Bitcoin network offers. I first heard about bitcoin in 2016 but didn’t think it was something real or tangible. I thought it was only “internet play money” that couldn’t ever be applied in the real world. Boy was I wrong about that and what the “real world” really is. I caught the frenzy of FOMO in 4th quarter of 2017 and jumped right in while kicking myself for not doing research on what bitcoin/blockchain is more than a year prior. I rode the wave up but wasn’t educated on when to exit before the big crash, I am sure many of y’all can relate. Now I am focused on learning as much about the the blockchain/bitcoin protocol as my seasoned brain can handle. I will be 41 next month and I realise this will be a predominant force for the next 40 years, so what better time to learn the fundamentals then now.
I might be slower than most, but I am focused on staying the course of this course.
Shout out to Ivan for creating this educational curriculum for layman’s like me.

Hi i’m new here. Decided to skip the Blockchain Deep Fundamental course and jump straight to the programming part. My name is Dandy, from Malaysia. Followed news about cryptocurreny and Ivanontech for more than 2 years now and decided to take up the course this year. I wanted to do something in the future that has got something to do with blockchain, be it my own business or blockchain developer. Nice to meet you all!

Hi Team,

My name’s Frederick! I’m 26 years old. I am really excited to learn more about Blockchain and its capabilities with you all! I’ve decided to join the Smart Contract course after the Blockchain Fundamentals course which was very interesting and has subsequently led to me to look into programming. I’m sure this will lead to many different opportunities. Onwards and upwards

Hey there I’m Rick from the US and I’m very new to this field. I’m 44 and learned more about the value in blockchain n crypto about 6 months ago. It’s fascinating to me and may be the pull I’ve been looking for to possibly switch careers. I’m a family man so career change is tricky but to do something that actually interests and challenges me would be extremely satisfying. We’ll see. I’m taking this learning process one step at a time and see where I end up. Regardless I’m sure it will be time and money well spent. Look forward to chatting with you guys soon. Cheers.
