Hello Everybody, I’m Steven, Business owner, IT Security and Network Engineer, IT & LIFE Teacher, Open Source enthusiast and I live in Belgium. I’ve only found out about Bitcoin during the Bull Market in 2017. Like many I have bought at a premium back then (never sold and still Hodl’ing). I still remember the earlier Ivan on Tech video’s and the way I learned more about ‘Blockchain’, types of algorithms, consensus and all the alts. At the moment I’m following as much courses about blockchain as possible. My head is filled with ideas and possible applications that go beyond! Always looking for new connections and links to connect and build.
As I invested in the peak of 2017 there is not much cash left, but if you are like me, interested in new stuff, willing to do community work and think long term, please contact me. I’m always looking for crypto friends and create new and exiting projects.

I’m Mike, I’m a consultant developer, and I’ve spent most of my working like since leaving uni (in 1997… I’m starting to feel old) working on the Microsoft stack. I currently seem to do a lot C#, Web API’s with more and more work on either Azure or AWS.
I recently got interested in crypto and the technology behind them and was blown away by Ivan’s video creating a simple blockchain in 15 mins. There’s at least a few projects I’ve done in the last 5 years ago that would have been a far better solution for, and like most people on here I love learning new practices and patterns to help me solve problems, so here I am.
Outside of work I am married with 3 kids who are wonderful and I’m a Cub Scout Leader as well.
I’m looking forward to learning a lot

I am now a grandmother who is still very interested to learn. I have limited knowledge of computer or software knowledge but am very willing to learn from Ivan and Fillip.I admire their and eagerness to share.
These 2 young persons are of a brighter tomorrow. Besides enrolling in this course which I intend to do in more than one year or more ,I am also learning Japanese, Blockchain and Crpptos -they are my interest now. Nice to meet all of you .

Hi folks!! My name is Craig and i just started to take the plunge into bitcoin. I have known about the blockchain for a couple years now but never really have got into it until very recently. Other than buying some scotcoin a year or so ago.
Looking forward to not just learn about crypto, but much much more!
I recently just left my job and went back to univercity and i am studying electrical engineering up in scotland. So far have very much been enjoying it!

Hello, my name Pepijn Nabbe, from The Netherlands. I got the blockchain crypto virus in May 2017. I’ve been studying and investing in the market ever since, next to my regular job as product manager at an e-learning tech scale up company in Amsterdam. My expertise lie in the commercial field of product, business (strategy) development and have absolutely no prior coding experience. So be gentle with me when I’m asking silly questions. Hi everyone!
My name is Nikita and I am a computer engineering PhD student living in California (originally from Russia though). I started learning about blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies in the summer of 2017 and was primarily interested in mining and investing/trading, not programming so much. I built a few GPU rigs that are still mining today, and used to run a couple of AntMiners. Right now I’m working on my trading bot for traditional markets (stocks) that utilizes machine learning-based strategy to setup trades, but I also would like to try to make one for crypto markets as well (though great volatility makes it harder). However, my research focuses on fabrication and development of machine learning hardware accelerators, not so much on programming.
I joined this academy mainly because I want to learn about coding on different blockchain platforms and expand my fundamental knowledge about technology, as well as advance my programming skills. Clearly, there are a lot of opportunities in the field, so I’d like to see how I can better apply myself and just have fun.
Thank you @ivan and @filip for setting up such an informative learning resource! I have been watching Ivan on Tech since 2017 and very much enjoy your streams, really happy to witness how much your brand has grown! Keep doing what you do and spread the knowledge and news.

My name is Victor and I am primarily interested in learning everything there is to currently know about Bitcoin, blockchains, and especially smart contracts. I have been learning about crypto since mid 2016, but I have decided to learn the code that makes these magical inventions so special.
My goals long term are to accumulate as much knowledge as possible so I can start working on sustainable energy based microgrids that function with transactive energy between all participants. I see this application of blockchain technology as a key piece in the puzzle to a green energy future.

Hello everyone! My name is Harmony, I’m interested in learning the programming aspect of blockchain; even if it turns out I can’t program I want to learn the basics of what makes a good programmer so that I can hire them. My husband and I launched a nonprofit foundation that seeks to establish new protocols empowering Municipals in financial services and advanced permissions. It is quite the undertaking and will require thousands to build all of its aspects, but it is my hope that this will enable a mass adoption of blockchain technology. The future is going to be Open & Secure with true Liberty.
