It s a protocol for the decentralised exchange of shares of Tokenized Vaults

Hello there! I was reading about DIA (Decentralized Information Asset). It sounds like It may be a very good source of information for crypto and financial data.

Vesper is a defi ecosystem that I dont see on your list. Screen Shot 2021-04-07 at 9.47.04 PM

I would like to mention Plutus (PLU). I found it it very interesting. This project connects Defi ecosystem with banking system.

Acala, Terra, still looking into defi but these two will be something i look into a bit more. i currently dont have a stable coin that stakes or hold liquidity but it seems like this is an option i need to try out. usdt is something i may have to look at moving away from.

I think Flare Finance should be on your radar

Hi! I Think that it is important to consider more defi projects from different ecosystems like Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or Polkadot. Some of the defi projects from BSC Ecosystem are PancakeSwap, Venus or Pancake Bunny. In the case of the Polkadot Ecosystem there are projects such as REN and OX. I would be interested to see more information about different ecosystems because every day the crypto community grows more and staying informed is key to this community.

Uniswap is now a huge top project in the DeFi ecosystem that allows you to buy and trade alt coins but still has a lot of kinks to work out over the future. With gas prices decreasing somewhere after the V3 update I think that it will grow in value tremendously if it does not get pushed back further like Ethereum and gain even more of the market share.

Another ecosystem that is very interesting is Polkadot. There are a lot of new projects being build on the parachains. Paid is a legal platform build on Polkadot which uses ignition to launch new projects.

hii
i found PegNet as an interesting project.
PegNet is a multi-protocol, cross-chain stable asset platform that has leapfrogged existing stablecoin implementations such as MakerDao, USDC, and Tether. It is a decentralized, non-custodial network of tokens pegged (stabilized) to different currencies and assets that allows for trading and conversion of value without the need for counterparties. PegNet is fully auditable, open-source, and uses the competition of PoW and external oracles to converge on the prices of currencies and assets.

Autofarm - A yield aggregator on the Binance Smart Chain. https://autofarm.network/

Thanks Amadeo. Enjoying your course. Unless i overlooked it, you may want to include the prediction markets in the ecosystem overview. Augur, Gnosis, Omen.eth and Polymarket.

https://wisetoken.net/ is a fully decentralized version of HEX though interest in the project seems to be waning. Note the steady decline in “Holders” https://etherscan.io/token/0x66a0f676479Cee1d7373f3DC2e2952778BfF5bd6

Compare that to HEX which has a steady increase of holders: https://etherscan.io/token/0x2b591e99afe9f32eaa6214f7b7629768c40eeb39

Didn’t see anyone mention Yern.Finance https://yearn.finance/. It’s a suite of products in DeFi that provides lending aggregation, yield generation and insurance on Ethereum’s blockchain. You can find the description here: https://docs.yearn.finance/

MakerDAO:
Maker is a building block for DOA, which is a building block for DeFi and in turn a building block for Ethereum. Maker is staked in BAT and Ether. MakerDAO is the building block for Compound.

I read about it and felt it has interesting purpose.

Since am new and still taking baby steps in blockchain let alone Defi i cant say its a must on your list but i can say its worth reading about

Def. https://defichain.com it’s the coolest project I know out there. Also the only Defi I know what is enabled on Bitcoin.

I found f.e. Vesper: https://vesper.finance/

https://nezofinance.com/

The project aims to provide staking, SAAS, escrow, lending, decentralised trading platform and OTC token sales features.
They’re still working on the white paper at time of posting, seems interesting.

I would suggest to have look at Open DAO (Opendao.io). It’s build upon UMA protocol.
Open Dao is a building a protocol to connect real world assets to defi. Doing this would lead to greater utility to defi by allowing the funds locked in defi towards productive real world applications while allowing borrowers to access a new capital source that is cheaper and faster. This would be done in a manner that is permissionless, trust minimized and unrestricted by geography.
