hi, I have been recently looking into them myself it looks pretty exciting! I’m new though so I guess everything is! lol
DexKIT & Cook Protocol
Hey Amadeo, first of all thanks for the amazing content in this course! I’m learning a lot.
I notice that you don’t have SushiSwap in your list, perhaps you would like to add it for an overview?
Also a question if I may, what do you think of blockfi? I am aware that this is a CeFi platform but in my opinion operating very similar in a DeFi way… What is your view?
It took me a some days and finally a bit of encouraging words from my course counselor that I shouldn’t be discouraged at not getting DeFi, for me to get a minimal grip on what the DeFi space has to offer. Now I feel a bit of courage to contribute to this discussion.
- zapper.fi jumped out at me due to its claim as one stop asset management
-
simpleswap.io I found it not so intimidating as a newbie, I used it recently to swap for Theta and T-Fuel. It was quite “simple” and easy to navigate and as a newbie
Thanks for this course thus far Amadeo, looking forward to go thru the rest of it
In February 2021, I dropped $750 on a centralized operation named BlockFi. The allure was the BlockFi Visa that would give BTC rewards through purchases with the card. I earn 6% API paid out monthly on the BTC. Because the BTC appreciated, and the interest payouts, the gains have been impressive. Yet, where is the Visa, they indicated Spring 2021 rollout.
I will definitely look into transacting on Compound soon. That was a good lesson. Would the established projects be the way to go? Is USDC worth trading for the coins indicated in the lessons? The videos are a year old.
Hi,
I have been exploring myself and came across a project which sounds interesting: SushiSwap. It is said to be similar to Uniswap and Balancer as it also uses liquidity pools. Users are locking up assets into smart contracts, traders buy and sell cryptocurrencies from those pools, swapping out one token for another. SushiSwap is a community-run project, governed by the community vote for all major changes to the protocol. This means that decisions related to software are made by holders of its native cryptocurrency, SUSHI. Anyone holding a balance of the asset can propose changes to how it operates, and can vote on submitted proposals by other users.
That’s super. They just released their pink paper with pretty exciting news…
I didn’t see Zilliqa on your list, that’s what I would add even though it isnt really new, what do you say ?
Polygon and C.R.E.A.M. swap.
Is there a drive path to access the excel summary offline, as well? thank you. BR, sheila.
Hello, I see that it has been mentioned once here, but perhaps Tixl. As soon as more practical information will become known about how it would work and perform in practice I think it could be useful. I trust in German quality

Hello there, I think Aave was not mentioned in this course and currently its 4th on DeFi market with liquidity of 6,5 billion, what is amazing performance from 2017, when this project started. Aave as platform could utilize the lending and borrowing functionality across 20 supported cryptocurrencies such as DAI, UNI and Yearn.Finance.
Aave’s main unique product is a “flash loan” where borrowers can take up the loan with zero collateralization. However, the borrower must pay back the loan and any additional interest, plus the fees within the same transaction.
Ramp defi:
Collateralize Staked Digital Assets Into Liquid Capital
Double dip and achieve greater capital efficiency
Sushiswap - a fully decentralized on-chain protocol for exchanging tokens through a process of automated market-making (AMM) which uses ‘liquidity pools’ rather than an orderbook
InstaDApp - a smart wallet with an intuitive interface built on top of popular DeFi projects like MakerDAO, Compound, Uniswap, etc. for managing assets. It’s optimized for users lacking advanced technical or financial experience.
Synthetix - a decentralized platform on Ethereum for the creation of Synths: on-chain synthetic assets that track the value of real-world assets.
I don’t see Coinbase under CeFi. Is this under another category?
The Alchemist platform adds an NFT yield farming layer on top of Uniswap’s liquidity pools. You contribute Alchemist token and ETH to the Uniswap liquidity pool, get LP tokens, and then use those LP tokens to mint a “crucible” NFT that is then staked and generates interest. I don’t totally understand how it works yet and hope that I will by the time I’m finished with all of these courses! https://alchemist.farm/
@amadeobrands @ivan @filip thoughts on vesper finance?
Pros
*Seem to have a solid team (Garzik and others).
*More user friendly and accessible than yfi and others? Are they going to be the defi version of coinbase?
*low mktcap/tvl ratio 0.1
*Solid audits from coinspect and certik
*Initial policy to keep vsp token supply at 10 million (community can vote to change this)
*Trying to emulate the Compound governance model. However, there will be an iterative transition to community governance over the first two years of the project
*By month 6 community voting power is expected to exceed the founding team’s voting power
*100% governance control in hands of the community within two years
Cons
*15% fee on yields and 0.6% withdrawal fee
*35% vsp tokens given to founders and partners at launch. (However there will be a transition to 100% community governance within 2 years - founding team governance tokens will be forfeited quaterly)
*limited products: at the moment just savings rate on eth wbtc usdc and vsp. However vesper earn, vesper stake and vesper labs are coming
Am new to this space and still learning from your courses so probably overlooking a lot - but trying to find alts to invest in and vsp came on my radar! Thanks!
Hello guys,
what do you think about dexkit defi toolkit:
https://dexkit.com/
Some says that there is no fees for swaping etc. Any recommendations, maybe experience with it?
