Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies

If I understand correctly, blockchain security increases and decreases with the size of the network. So a very small network will tend to be more insecure than a larger one. My question therefore is how the security of very small networks can be guaranteed—networks that are designed, for example, to keep track of the transactions in a very small production supply chain. Moreover, how are the nodes (or miners) in such a small network financially incentivized to keep the network running and to remain honest while doing so? Are cryptographic encodings the only guarantors of integrity in small blockchain networks?

Great stuff so far, keeping it short makes it easier for people like myself that have difficulty with academic learning.

Even though I read Satoshi’s white paper before the Genesis block and even though I am in the computer business and invested since 2016, I still found value in the clear concise way you some things up.

Though I want to move on to some more advanced material I am glad I’m starting by reaffirming my understandings of block chain in cryptocurrencies technologies. We have to all start with the firm foundation of understanding or the rest won’t make sense. I am ready to do things in order and really get this down. I want to teach others.

In the final analysis everyone taking this Academy has the duty to educate others. This will create the demand which will drive the space forward. Obviously people are not trying to get the truth that they need from the mainstream media outlets.

Blockchain technology is important in restructuring our society. It is already changing how we are conducting our finances and how we make transactions. There is no need to trust in an organization to manage or monitor your account. The network in the blockchain does that for us and the nodes must have consensus on the transaction. I believe this technology is changing the world and it is our responsibility to speak the truth about it and correct ideas that go against it.

Most of that info was not completely new to me after listening to youtube channels, but very nice reinforcement and like sorting things regarding what points are critically important

Thank you, feel ready to move on

I am starting to film my own course videos from my spherical notes on YouTube. Because you haven’t really learned anything unless you can teach it to somebody else.

“You haven’t really learned anything unless you can teach it to somebody else.”
That’s a mantra to live by (though don’t tell that to 80% - more - of the teachers and educators on planet Earth).

Thanks for sharing, mate!

Very good course. I like the question an answering part. Also it is a way to see how others are learning. I even talked with somebody in the SAP space I am also working. You see business is adapting this area.
