Activity Lesson 2

Exercisising. I’ve been sedentary all my life, having no interest in sports, gym and other exercises a tiny bit.
But if I could take at least 15min to 30min a day to grow this habit, I know it has gratification in the long-run.

An equally important change would do the same with meditation in the same manner, and is something I’m much more into taking back to my routine, as I know the enormous benefits I had when I used to meditate frequently.

Adding in 30 min of exercise at least 4 days a week.

I will spend 2 extra hours a day studiying for this course so i can start working in this Industry sooner.

Reduce my spending on things that are not important and invest more

Optimise my time and not throw it away in an unconstructive way. I build a daily routine by setting myself sustainable long-term goals. For example, doing sport consistently, improving my diet, getting a good night’s sleep and always carving out free time to meet friends or do interesting and rewarding activities. You have to get into a positive mood and commit it to memory.

I will spend the time now and over the next few weeks to organize my belongings. This investment of time now will help me save time later when I do not have to spend time looking for things ( this is after a home remodel and I cannot find a thing ).

Propose a change you could make to one of your habits, that would reduce your time preference from high (instant gratification) to low (delayed gratification) time preference. It could relate to any aspect of your life (financial, diet, exercise, relationships or education).

If I could reduce the time on my phone, I know this will help with reducing of spending, more concentration and dedicated time to focusing and not looking at social media for aimless amounts of time.

***If anyone is interested in reducing your screen time, I highly suggest getting a phone lockbox, I invested in one ($20 on amazon) and this has helped a great deal to force me to be away from my phone!

I’m the type of guy that usually spends more money that I should. Despite the fact I always have had the chance of finding very well paid jobs, it seems not enough to cover my immediate consumptions needs, so I have decided to stop spending my time doing things that will not make my future better and that’s the reason I’m starting to take seriously this academy as now I know that knowledge will give me the power to have a better life in the long run no matter I need to sacrifice some things for that to happen.

I recently quit my job as an employee to pursue my dream of working for myself. I am in the second month of this journey and have already developed some bad habits, preferring activities that provide instant gratification (such as computer games) over activities that increase my value (like completing this academy). I’ve set a goal of completing the entire Academy in 6 months, foregoing “now” desires in favor of future success. Thanks to my success with my internship, I found storyboardthat.com and now I create beautiful books, edit them, and enjoy reading them before they go into print

Dumping prices of my invested cryptos reduces my time preference a lot, since I`m damned to wait for the next bull market.

I love coffee. I started to do the math around the cost of the coffee on the way to work and I realize that shifting to me making it or buying a machine would be better in the long run.

Hi,
I aim to pay off my debt by 2023. This will be acheived by taking on an extra job, cutting off 1. Eating out 2. Eating Junk food 3. Buying new clothes 4. Travelling

Kind regards,
Ben

I need to invest part of my pay check immediately when received…not at the end of the month!

Take the time to get educated on the fastest global economic change mankind’s ever faced with learning and applying everything in this academy.

  1. I believe I have dotted my “i’s” and crossed my “t’s” when it comes to financial investments and retirement savings.

  2. Halfway into the year, I committed to improving my health and I succeeded, plus I lost 25 lbs. Woohoo!

  3. For the past 15 years I leased cars, my current lease ends in March 2023. This time I plan to buy a used car (hybrid) for under $15k hopefully, and hold on to it until I buy a house (with an income-producing ADU on the property). I’m still on the fence about buying vs leasing a car, will I have monthly costs anyway??..but that is my plan for now.

  4. I need to stop looking at social media sites first thing in the morning. It makes me sick these days… I used to watch Ivan on tech every morning when he uploaded more often (we need them back)! I signed up for business newsletters (Financial Samurai & Morning Brew), I want to focus on reading those every morning to help my mood for the rest of the day.

  5. Finish the entire moralis program!

Congrats on quiting the W2/employee job! I wish you the best in your endeavors. Turn your passions into a business

I could stop counting calories and just focusing on eating mindfully, feeling myself and resting enough. That would lead to so much more inner freedom, and this is what life is about for me.

I could spend more time reading daily, as there are so many books I want to read and things to learn about.

I could meditate every day, as I feel that it is helping me so much.

I like instagram, but I could leave it at opening the app once a day for consumption (rest out put)

I could just eat whole food plant based and call myself vegan again, as this is to conviction and philosophy I live by and belief in.

Much love to y’all <3

I have stopped going to Starbucks everyday. The prices continue to increase and started taking a large chunk of my income. Once I realized the drink didn’t taste as good as the amount I was spending on it, it became easier to give that “treat” up and instead go every once in a while without feeling the guilt of spending the money on a coffee.
