Activity Lesson 2

Gradually learning to cook at home, learning one recipe at a time, and reduce the amount of eating delivery food from fast food chains or restaurants. This, definitely, will be life changing (financially and in terms of health).

Meditate each day before i get task oriented… done view meditation as a task to be accomplished and checked off either :stuck_out_tongue:

mine is to put the next 3-month straight into becoming a top-notch blockchain developer with help of resources on Ivan on tech moralis academy

I could workout (push ups and jump ropes) every morning going forward. This addition to my routine would increase my stamina and trim excess body fat, enhance my fitness and my health in the long run.

To become super a wear about what food I’m eating and what I’m consuming through social media.

Well besides many things I could change, I would choose to change the habbit of eating everyday out for lunch and start eating more at home. Long term I can see better health and more money saving.

Propose a change you could make to one of your habits, that would reduce your time preference from high (instant gratification) to low (delayed gratification) time preference. It could relate to any aspect of your life (financial, diet, exercise, relationships or education).

This is something that I have been doing with all aspects of my life and will continue to do so. I still have more work to do but small steps eventually make big gains.

so ive been doing the following:
1 . Financial ( and education) – Studying & learning about wealth accumulation(bitcoin, crypto, gold and silver) Will hopefully be a long-term gain
2. Diet - I’ve switched to being a vegetarian to reduce my meat intake and reduce my environmental impact ( this has saved me a lot of money too)
3, - exercise - doing yoga every week(The benefits are almost instant for my health and state of mind!)
4. reducing my waste - cutdown on throwing food away, not eating prepacked food very often and always carrying a reusable water bottle with me rather than buying a new plastic water bottle every day (the savings have been huge !)
5. only eating out at restaurants on special occasions rather than a weekly thing ( this alone has reduced my instant gratification / over spending massively)

I could reduce 30 min of social media usage daily and replace for an exercise session.

Convert most of my savings to stable coins. So that whenever I want to buy something new, I remember I don’t have fiat to do so and I can buy only crypto.

I could study harder to get a job that pays more and are more fulfilling then the one I have today. 1h each day, 5 days each week would make a huge differens over time. I could do this instead of sleeping on the bus in the mornings.

I would have to say that health wise I have made better decisions on the food I eat and have become healthier and more fit in the process. I spend Money on things that I need vs things that I used to buy on impulse.

Let’s see, to reduce instant gratification and increase delayed results… I think I should spend less of my guitar practice time reciting scales and jamming blues and commit to transcribing, then practicing and learning one good solo per week starting with one of my favorite Larry Coryell pieces. Then maybe something off George Benson’s ā€œBlue Bensonā€ LP, then some Grant Green, Bill Connor and if I feel very ambitious perhaps a Joe Pass piece. In this way I can further develop my ear while gaining theoretical insight and expanding harmonic possibilities simultaneously.

I could do a better job of measuring out my calorie intake. I definitely eat more after a workout. I also justify adding things like cheese.

Instead of sleeping in on Sunday, I can wake up and meal prep for the week. Causing me to miss the instant gratification of sleep, to delayed gratification in not having to spend money on takeout through the week.

Something I could change is going for a quick walk after meals and after coming home. Usually my energy is quite low in those moments and I’m more prone to sit down and just relax while I could be doing useful things. Getting some movement could help re-energize my body and mind and set me up for more success throughout my whole day.

Getting out of bed when I actually wake up to go on that walk that I have been saying I am going to start doing.

I had done the walk a couple of times and the feeling of getting out as opposed to laying around was a massive difference. I just need to make it a habit.
