Do not focus mainly on my main job activity and instead dedicate time to study and learn new things. Have a plan B if things will go wrong with plan A.

I smoke cigarettes. I go through a pack every 2 days. If I spend less time smoking or (quit smoking), it will improve my quality of life and save me around 1200 extra per year.

Move the bag of nuts that I am snacking on from my nightstand to the kitchen so that I would have to go in the other room to get something to eat.

I try to study for at least an hour every day. The energy invested pays off abundantly in the long run as I am able to interpret increasingly complex things.
The more structured, more regular I do, the better the result.

When getting home in the afternoon just eat half of what my wife serves me. instead of satisfying the love she has for me. i need to give myself love, by not eating what my body does not need. this will help me in reducing my calorie intake.

By increasing the amount of study hours and reducing unrelated social media engagement, a reduction in time preference from high to low is easily achievable.

I will go to bed an hour earlier so that I can use the hour I have gained in the morning for further learning.

I will set aside time to do exercise to gain health. Health = Wealth.

Propose a change you could make to one of your habits, that would reduce your time preference from high (instant gratification) to low (delayed gratification) time preference. It could relate to any aspect of your life (financial, diet, exercise, relationships or education).

I live a pretty active lifestyle and exercise regularly but i tend to go to bed late which means that I probably don’t get enough sleep. A change that I should make for myself is to sleep earlier. I know that sleep is very important for body recovery and it would serve me well considering the lifestyle that I lead. I’m curious to see how my overall well being will improve.

I want to try and keep an ultra clean house and car. High time preference

Stopping smoking. costs money, takes up valuable time and no benefits to health.

I can walk up 30 minutes earlier and dedicated to meditation which is a power full tool in life at all concepts

I could prepare my meals on the weekends so that during the week each night I just need to reheat them and this will give me more time to work out in the evenings.

Whenever I go to supermarket, I used to buy lot of vegetables and fruits which I can not even accommodate inside my refrigerator. Initially I think , I am saving my time buying maximum items at once. However , some of the vegetables and fruits spoil before I can consume them. This is how my money goes waste and my time as well. I can save my money and spend it properly when required. This way I can also save my time in supermarket every time I visit there.

I should spend less time reading current news and more time studying.

Many of the things like everyone is saying above… I’ll add lowering the the amount of time spent ruminating!

For me this is easy, instead of being in a job with no satisfaction, sitting around for twelve hours a day watching the clock and just wishing i was off with my family. to putting in the effort, educating myself and getting a job that will improve my whole family’s life.

One change that I proposed with time management in an effort to complete more courses in this Academy is reduce my high time preference to sleeping in. I go to bed early and wake up early to progress through the lessons instead of allowing the day to go on to see if I can get to a lesson.
Another change on the financial side is taking a set percentage of my salary to invest in crypto. With this change, my mindset changed, making the investment in crypto as the high time preference.
