I would love to pay in crypto, I think it’s unfair for a blockchain course to charge only thru PayPal and Visa, Irony… Fix this please, I would love to join and I’m sure many others tried with no luck too.
No idea, but my guess would be that this is due to the volatility of the crypto currencies; I.e. a course can charge in crypto but then if the currency dramatically rises or declines people will feel like they’ve overpaid; or he will get underpaid.
IIRC he started talking about the course a few weeks ago when cryptos were taking a nose dive, so what would the fair price have been in crypto?
But yes, it is a little ironic
Thanks, I guess I’m left with no other option, PayPal it is
That’s actually an interesting point Ivan, maybe a solution would be possible thru an automated payment channel which would exchange any supported digital currency into tether automatically and then withdrawal would be seamless, exchanged back into bitcoin or anything you prefer later. Of course taking in consideration the moral part of dealing with Tether.
Just a humble suggestion, although I have no working model. Stay awesome, looking forward to the online course!
That makes sense. You can purchase a product/service today worth $100 and next week worth cents. I am in the space and working towards creating a channel to educate the community in relation to full-fledged adoption especially for people in underdeveloped countries so they can have access to the world economy. Stay tune.
i would also like to pay with crypto if even ivan doesn’t accept crypto for his courses why would stores accept crypto.
pls use btc as a payment and not only as a store of value
For those that were asking earlier, Ivan just announced that in the course of this week they will start accepting crypto currencies as payment for the course.
They had to develop some back end components to accept the crypto into their account and issue invoices to the course takers, this should be launched within this week.
Great news!
I’ve watched him live and I’m looking forward to his open-source solution. Happy to see the progress!
