Whats the point of doing a Bitcoin Replay Attack?

Hi guys,

I would like to know what’s the point of Bitcoin Replay Attack, what does the attacker get with this?
If he is going to replay the transaction in the other chain, the destination of this transaction should be his own account otherwise he will just make someone lose his coins in the other chain, but no one else will get profit of them right?

The attacker would probably only replay transactions to his adress, that would ‘double’ his gains.
