Moralis has the goal of making web3 application development accessible to developers who want to build applications on the blockchain. With as minimum entry barriers as possible. And it has the incredible advantage of being able to be compatible with different blockchains. Which opens up many more possibilities.

Web3 is the next evolutions of the internet where the ownership of the internet and decentralization of the internet is given more power. By using blockchain technologies web3 gives ownership of digital assets to users themselves, remove third party influence on data and assets and monetizes digital value.

Moralis sees this as the future of the internet and want to enable more developers/users to utilize this power.

Moralis as a technology is a developer ecosystem which provides a platform for developers who are working on decentralised applications (dapps) to interact with different blockchains (crucial) and different platforms.

Think of it as an operating system on top of different hardware/CPU, the developers don’t have to interact with the hard disk or printer…etc themselves. The operating system provides abstractions or APIs for developers to build or run application on, leaving the repetitive and hardware specific functionality to the OS. Similarly Moralis, provides the necessary infrastructure, abstractions, tools to dapps or workflows to aid.
