The TVL right now is $76.99B. Considering it has dropped quite a bit from the ATH of $110.257 in november I am feeling a bit bearish at the moment. But I guess one should also take into consideration that more efficient protocols means less value needs to be locked. I think the DeFi space will grow, meaning more transactions. Maybe we will start using a different way of measuring the success of DeFi. But my prediction for the TVL is that it will increase and reach a new ATH some time during the year and then drop a bit again and close around 100B during the end of the year. I think I will set a reminder to check the TVL and see how wrong I was.

75.36B as of today. Given the crazy volatility in the past year, this number has still risen by approx 10 B over a year so I donāt think there is any reason to believe this trend wonāt continue. This entire crypto space has been sideways over the past few months and it could be that any major event could precipitate funds leaving or entering the market.
as for myself, I am trying o get more than .002 percent interest on my money during an inflationary time so my interest is only increasing. I suspect others feel the same.

Current DEFI TVL is 76 billion, by the end on the year could be 150 billion if there is some institutional adoption.

The current total value locked of DEFI is 74 billion, but we have to keep in mind, we are in a downtrend at the moment. I believe by the end of the year DEFI could break new ATH and reach around the 120-140 billion mark.

The current total value locked in DEFI is 75.66 Billion Dollars, I predict that within this current we could reach around a 95 billion dollars given the current trends and assuming the crypto downward trend does not cause a major problem in DeFi in July

Currently (May 17h of 2022), the TVL is around 57 billion USD. I believe that at the end of the year itāll reach 100 billion again

Itās May 18, 2022 and it stands at $56.54B at this moment. With everything going on in the world at this moment it is very hard to say where it will be at the end of the year. Iām going to guess hopefully back up to $75 billion

I am writing on the 22nd of May 2022. Last week Terra Luna meltdown was a shocker, pulling down the whole crypto with it. I knew Terra Luna and UST were hyped like crazy, but I did not bother to read further into Luna as I was not invested in it. I should have known better sighā¦
Anyway, it seems like the bear market is here and I hope the bottom is in, or maybe not. Regardless, hard for me to predict. One thing I learned from crypto since I started investing in 2020, it is so unpredictable and volatile like crazy.
If I have to predict based on the TVL, I expect the cryptomarket more than likely to be sideways but people will still invest and stake their crypto in the safer crypto options. TVL could be back at least at 75 billions, make sense to me. Just my 2 satoshi heheā¦

Today, 21st of May 2022, the TVL is @ $56B. Things are a little depressed at the moment, but I predict a TVL of ~100B by the end of the year.

Look at the current TVL on DeFi Pulse and post what it is in the forum along with your prediction of where it will be at the end of this year.
Currently the TVL is at 53.82B, However in terms of making any predictions the market right now is a Bear market, inflation is only going up, and at this writing the Luna coin has collapsed. Going forward in my opinion I see this number dropping further. Consumer confidence right now is very shaky.
