What is Day One?

The concept of day one means you have to perform every day as if it’s your first day and re-earn the trust of team members.

The concept of Day 1 promotes personal growth because there’s accountability to perform at a high level.

It urges you to keep a high standard and continue to develop your skill sets, keep the momentum and not be so comfortable with the results you get in the past.

If you are stuck, have a mindset of endless possibilities so you can move past limitations!

  2. The concept of “day one” is important because it helps us get motivated to not take the milestones we completed for granted. I personally could relate this to the latin word “magis” which means to “more” or “greater”. It is an ongoing growth and questioning how we can live bolder, better, and more loving. And as a group/organisation, it pushes us to perform well everyday and that benefits us in a way that we get to continue existing and growing everyday and moving forward.

  1. Day one basically means to do the best you can in any given situation, be it work, health, gym, etc. Don’t accept mediocrity or averageness, and this is also a principle I follow in my day to day life. This also ties to a quote from Jordan Peterson: “Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today.”
