I still have a lot to learn, and I’m just grabbing the concepts and protocols. What I do not see are opportunities for the average person. There is an untapped market.

How do we give the masses an opportunity to participate? Let Cardano be the “Ethereum Killer” for DeFi in high finance and fight for everything built on it. Zilliqa can be a “Financial Liberator” for masses and help them. Vitalik did say, “Zilliqa has a lot of room to succeed and prosper.”

I see building blocks outside of Ethereum and Maker DAO. They are ones that I have to help create. I really enjoyed this course because it showed me what I can do with my money when I get it.

If Dai is pegged to USD doesn’t the inflation of the USD also decrease the Dai purchasing power. It still feels like it is heavily reliant on external decisions made by the Fed. How could this effect Dai in the long term?

Was a pleasure following this course, the way of explaining is excellent, i ` m looking forward to follow the Defi201 course, it will be after finishing my Ethereum programming courses.
At the same time, i will keep diving in the Defi projects, i already made a list of some interesting .

Regarding the defi ecosystem, will be difficult to old generations who are used to do everything using a 3rd party, while i think will be more easy to the new generations that were born after web2.0, they are most used to transactions online.
At the end, everyone of us should spread the word about Defi ecosystem for a near mass adoption.

Very valuable DeFI 101 course @amadeobrands. Playing around with Compound, Oasis, Uniswap, etc with Kovan network it will help me to improve understanding of the ecosystem. But the Gas fees …

Still great work man
I think it would be interesting to see to build a Flash Loan Bot?

Also my self has a hard time making a good profit with Flash Loans.
There are some smart people in the space front running most opportunists.

Best to build something like this in private.

I would be very interested to build a protocol that financially destroys a CeFi market and transfers the value to it’s people with GEO wallets. This can be done by for example hacking small local banks in the Philippines or other small corrupt countries this is possible and would like to do this.

Hi @amadeobrands
Thanks for all the good information. Really looking forward to be able to implement this knowledge.

Just having a little problem with my Metamask wallet:
I have transfered some ETH to my metamask wallet.
Every time i want to connect my metamask to a dApp it makes a totally new wallet with a different public key and with zero balance. even when i connect the website manually in the Metamask GUI it keeps giving me the other empty wallet in the dApp.
what am i doing wrong? did anyone had the same problems?

Is it normal you have to pay like $16 in fees just to setup the Vault in oasis?

Thanks

Hi
That is weird I think this has to do with that you clicking the worng buttons.
There was a Meta Mask update that offers you this cool service … maybe try to put all settings back to default make sure to back up your wallet with value.

This is amazing How this works it definitely creates many opportunities for consulting and managing large portfolios for investors with way better gains and with the right knowledge can be foolproof.

To be able to lend and borrow without the usual principles applying is going to change the world once mass adoption comes

DeFi is very very interesting and is creating a solid foundation for the future, but for now there is still a long way to go. Maker and Compound are excellent projects, but really new to be adopted by the mass in a few years. They have fantastic returns compared to those of traditional finance. The blockchain world is a Maglev that goes faster and faster. I will continue to keep updated on new projects because it is too exciting. Thanks!

CIA is already killing us slowly like the frog in the boiling pot :stuck_out_tongue: . So let’s explore this more for the sake of humanity.

Smart phone use in India for example is skyrocketing opening the door for Defi development yet it still seems that a digital divide is a massive hurdle for the unbanked to reach financial inclusion. I feel that the entrepreneurs of the Defi space in the 2020’s would really be the people who tackle the problems facing the developing world .

I tried using the oasis /kovan link but ended up using my own tokens. Why does the DSR shows 0%? Is that correct? Have i missed out something?

. Please tell me. Thanks

Agreed … we just need to be firm and move forward

I agree with you.
Issues I see is education and also the amount of scams etc.

A project you must follow in this space is Shuttle One you can see them as Bonus Interview for DeFi 101 see: https://shuttleone.io/

The savings rate for DAI is 0% at the monent. I’ve noticed that, too. Not much use of putting DAI into a DSR when it gives you nothing extra. I am saving my DAI in a savings account that give me 12%. Yes, I know, lot of risk. But is investment monwy, so I am comfortable losing it.

Thanks Eric. Mind sharing which savings platform do you use? Curve? compound?

Thank you Amadeo for a great course! :pray:t2:

It so fully packed with information so while I am processing it, nothing much in shapes of questions come out…
However, the ideas, the work and the scale of the DEFI space makes it a very solid ground for changing the system. I really do not see this thing go away, it will just continue to grow until it breaks through.
