Unstake Ampl from the geyser

Hi Everyone @ivan , @amadeobrands @filip @gabba

Does anyone know how to unstake Ampleforth? I have googled for hours and checked different websites. The Ampleforth website only give clear directions on how to convert ones ETH and AMPL to the Uniswap-V2 token and stake using their Geyser but there are NO CLEAR instruction on how to reverse the entire process and get ones ETH and AMPL back. I have been stuck with their Uniswap-V2 token. It seems that a number of other people also have raised this question on the internet also. The Ampleforth website just says after you unstake from the Geyser and it will repay your funds gradually over time. This is my forth day stuck with this token and not my original funding of ETH and AMPL.

Hi Everyone : I figured it out :

  1. Go to the Ampleforth Geyser and Withdraw from it
  2. go to https://app.uniswap.org/#/pool : it will automatically detect the Uniswap -v2 token
  3. You can then withdraw from the pool.

One this helps someone else.

Hello sir, I have not tested the withdraw function from the geyser yet, I’m just staking has long as it allows me. But i do know how to withdraw or unstake from the geyser (or i think i know :laughing:).

Step 1:

Go to https://www.ampleforth.org/geyser/, connect your wallet and there will be a withdraw button.

Step 2:

Is really simple, you have to withdraw your stake of Uniswap-v2 token + the staking reward.

Step 3:

You can sell your staking rewards and you will get back your Uniswap-v2 token.

Hope this gives you a clear picture of the subject.

anyone had any problems withdrawing from geyser? i’ve been trying already like 5 times. every time it tells me “transaction failed on chain”…and won’t unstake. not sure what to try

Hi! Take a look at your transaction on etherscan, there should be an error description in red. Maybe ran out of gas? https://info.etherscan.com/reason-for-failed-transaction/

AMPL!!! It was a great 2 and a half days. Ivan says buy AMPL. I buy
AMPL, market cap goes 2.5x in 3 days. I sell at the top. Everyone is holding my bags. Best weekend ever.
