Question re installing visual studio and node js

UPDATE: I figured it out. I pressed .help then ctrl-C as prompted, then npm - v and no problems. Not sure why it does that as it was more straightforward in the video.

I’ve installed these two applications for the course.

I verified the installations: node - v and npm - v.

When I typed: npm - v , I get error, see screen shot below. Can someone help me to troubleshoot this?

Hi @Julie66, hope you are well.

Have you try to run the same commands in a windows console (cmd) or powershell? It might be that you just need to run the commands as Administrator.
