ETH,BITCOIN,EOS -
Who are allowed to join a permissioned blockchain network?
An trusted entity or a trusted individual to run the nodes on the network. -
Why do you think permissioned blockchain networks are preferred by many companies?
As permissioned blockchain requires access to access the information inside the network, this would helps the company to control who have access to the information.
-
What benefits do blockchain provide in business-to-business collaborations?

Why do you think permissioned blockchain networks are preferred by many companies?
Many companies seek to keep control over the flow of data. The companies needs are internal and seek to delegate approved entities to compartmentalize data specific to the needs of the approved people/entities’ work. These companies also need the governance and privacy that permissioned blockchains offer.
Great answers here!
Only one thing seems to me not being right. I think EOS is not totally permisionless because adding to blockchain can do only few voted nodes. I believe there is 21 selected (by community voted) nodes which can verify transactions and add them to EOS blockchain. So only few selected/authenticated nodes are able to add transactions to blockchain.
