Worked with no problem, just need to sign up of course.
The NEM faucet you posted didn’t work, many others were drained too. I found this one worked, however it required a Monero mining captcha. https://xarleecm.com/en/nemfaucet

This part of the course feels like a scam…
In what way?
Just the whole NEM ecosystem seems very different probably because it’s Japanese and their culture is quite different.

Thanks! I thought I’m stuck in the course because of all the drained faucets, but with this one I got my first 6 test XEM

A more detailed approach:
- go to https://forum.nem.io/
- Sign up to that forum.
- Click on TECHNICAL DISCUSSION
- Click on: “Paste you address here for beta NEM” (5th or 6th topic)
- Post your public key and wait, as a human being needs to unblock your account first. Another human then will send you the tokens. This can take a while.
UPDATE: It took 5 hours
